Question, is it possible to make a rack with different types of missiles, or do all the missile have to be the same if its in the same rack?

EHCS has nothing to do with missile guidance. If you need an example, look at my Falkner-Muir Weapons Pack.

so i'm trying to make a long range radar missiles, and they do fire and i have custom built several planes with the EHCS and made sure they worked and they did, but when i try to make a missiles they just don't track, the radar on them is set to static and i have followed how to use the identifier but they just don't track.

i was using a creating with EHCS compatible thing in the description and i wired like the video send data and stuff but i already scrapped that so i am not using EHCS

I have a strong feeling you are not doing anything correctly.

The EHCS Weapon Data is for compatible MCs that want to use EHCS data (ex. a HUD)

These sound like issues with what ever weapon you are making, or you may have not connected the nodes.

Just one last question, is there any command to pump the fuel from the tanks, or I need to build one in the aircraft?

I've just gone ahead and checked, the fuel tank is connecting and fulling working. I believe you may simply be looking at the wrong page. Drop tanks to not appear in the munition list, but instead only in the hardpoint viewer. If you click the button on the top right of the page, it will take you to the hardpoint viewer where you should be able to find and drop the tank.

Im trying to add compat to my Helicopter, missiles are working fine, but for some reason I cant explain its not reconizing drop/fuel tanks

Minimum Subscribers:
Vehicles >1000
Weapons >500

For targeting pods, composite channels 1-3 coming from the pod should not matter. Also ordinance type is only used as a backup when there is no EHCS data.

I'm currently making a targetting pod, it's my first time using ehcs and I don't really understand if I can overwrite the 1 to 3 channels with my own stuff. I want to be able to directly send data from the hard point to the "Target Data Passthrough"

Update: I've figured out why the EHCS identifier isn't working. It outputs [x][x][ASCII][CharPosition], which is completely reversed to your documentation of [x][x][CharPositon][ASCII]. I don't know if that's intentional or not but it seems all produced weapons for the system have been made with this reversed arrangement. I highly recommend you update your documentation!

Hello! I am trying to create my own hardpoint manager with the EHCS communication standard. I have been able to correctly decipher the data sent each tick in particular pertaining to the name of the weapon starting from characters 3-4, however I've noticed that when put to the test with actual EHCS weapons that sometimes characters 5-7 will go greatly over the any possible ASCII value (ie 905, whereas the highest basic ASCII number is 126) and completely brick my script. I used the NNTC AIM120 for my testing, and verified that the name in the identifier is "AIM-120", so I believe its specifically something to do with the identifier rather than the weapon itself or my code.

that missile works so well and its the best one guys you should try it ive seen it hit lvl 15 from testing :steamthis:
