for me it's not been working with elites but the old bug of the mod reviving you just from stabbing a scav corpse doesn't exist anymore

@harlerrot rain world era Sorry about that, but this mod does not modify save data so I don't think it would have caused an issue like that

I don't know if this mod has any conflicts with other existing mods, but after downloading this my artificer campaign broke. I uninstalled all the mods, did a re install, still got the same problem with just a slow loading white screen. Had to do a hard reset of my whole game.

yeah my bad i was referring to 1.9.15 there cause 1.9.15.3 made it so my game is just a black screen now

Hmm, this sounds what happened with the 1.9.15 update. But on 1.9.15.3 I don't have this issue. Please send exception logs if you can and I'll take a look at it. Also maybe try unsubscribing and re-subscribing to this mod

also unsure if it's this mod or another one i have (and unsure if it's arti or all the slugs) but things that should kill me like red lizard and miros vulture bites just don't now.

could you make the effect only happen if the spear actually kills artificer? like if it gets stabbed by monk and survives it shouldn't count

can you please try to fix this for the new update? whenever i get speared and going to die (time expires) my game just crashes. it doesnt really crash but game logic gets frozen and nothing is happening, all i can do is open the pause menu

i think around 30 seconds would be enough for me personally, but 60 would probably be a good limit over all!

I can try raising it. I'd prefer a small limit so I can quickly test it, but I see that 15 seconds might be too restrictive. Would 60 seconds be enough?
why's there a limit on the time before you die? is there no way to increase it further?

i had an idea for something like this that allows arti to survive getting speared once as long as she pulled the spear out within a set amount of time (incorporating the same second-chance mechanic). but im utterly incompetent at modding so it will forever live in my head as a pipe dream and this will be the closest thing ill get which is also nice

Also puts an emphasis on how scary Artificer is from scavengers perspective.

Like: "There's a powerful red colored creature roaming the world that slaughters your own kind, as you're being sent as a part of a kill squad to find and get it.
Some time passes, until you finally find it, but it wasn't you who found it first, it was the opposite, as you watch it slaughtering your whole squad.
By a lucky chance you land your last spear on it, however in your demise, it quickly stands up and pulls it out, and the last thing you felt is a spear going through your skull.
As numerous cycles have passed, no one ventures to the Metropolis anymore."


Rather than it being: "There was a powerful red colored creature that slaughtered your own kind, until you speared it with little to no effort and got promoted to an elite.
In your horror they never stated beforehand what they do to your eyes and antlers when you get promoted, and not to mention them nailing a scary mask to your face."

This mod single-handedly makes Artificer more fun to play against scavengers, and is still somewhat balanced if configured right.

It also makes sense from story perspective that Artificer is a such anger and vengeance powered beast, to the point that they won't even die from their main offenders, unless not repaid back fast enough (also maybe it's just from the slugcat modification thing, Arti is already resistant to explosions and spears now too, however Artificer will just overvoltage and explode from not satiating their anger on scavengers quick enough after getting speared, so that's the kind of logical explanation).

Its the same thumbnail as artificer karma on kill. But its still cool... if you like artificer.
