also slave? that does f all
I'm creating my own dedicated multiplayer server and wanted to ask if I can take the basis of your mod and modify it to fit my server. I would like to change the name of some professions, profession costs and items that professions spawn with
As long as it's not a problem for you
I look forward to your response
Big work
but to summarise, the issue i faced with yours is that a few traits given by professions are still selectable on the available traits menu which means u can choose them twice (which is particularly bad when a player chooses the same negative trait twice allowing extreme points)
I think in your case, you may have forgotten to ensure their activation in the "Mods" menu PRIOR to hitting host... I put the mod and ALL its dependencies onto server and everything showed (but has those errors mentioned before)
when i try to look for incompatibility with some other mod the only thing i can find is TheEngineer and RealMetalworking mods but after some test by removing them from my server and trying again the occupations still don't show up in the list. so i simply guess thoses are not the mods causing this issue
the only other mods i can think of that have an impact on the Occupation and Traits is More Simple Traits, and a mod that add the surgeon occupation (i can't remember the name of the mod)
You won't need the recycling mod unless you are using the "postapoc_occupations_lastdays" version instead of the "postapoc_occupations" one
If you can see the "Drifter" occupation in the occupation list then the mod is properly updated and on the newest version. If NOT then you are still using the old unpatched version.
In this case:
#1 Unsubscribe from the mod
#2 Restart your computer or steam
#3 Download it again
If you restart steam restart it properly. If you just close the application it will still run in the background.
Other then the above I can only imagine that there compatibility problems with other mods that add/change occupations or add/change traits. If you use those and the above steps didn't work try playing without those.
