in vanilla f3 changes to your 3rd loadout

This is just not working for me. Either that, or I don't know how to confirm changes. When I select an NPC, it won't let me select any others, and the name does not change on the NPCs. How do I fix this?

@clinically_insane_ You or another Mod you've installed might use that Keybind already.
You can set the Keybind to another key in Settings>Controls>Keybindings.
You'll find the entry at the bottom of the list with the name "Toggle NPC Renamer". :)

@bruhgod69 That's correct, but keep in mind, that this mod doesn't communicate outside of your singleplayer world/private server. So you'll still be responsible for the content you produce with it.

Press F3 and a Window should show up.
If that‘s not the case make sure to setup the keybind in the controls settings :)

At least when I renamed the Guide to "Andrew" he dropped the green hat.

Yeah, last night i noticed the icons were random lol. It renames them just fine tho

I will try to make it properly work with modded NPCs :)

@SIR MOO Yes, it'll keep its name, even when you unload the mod.

Only when the NPC dies, it will receive a new random name.

Make sure the Keybind (default is F3) is set in your controls settings.

Then just press the key to open the renaming window.

You can only NPCs that are currently alive :)

How does one rename?
