hey sarg, i am also having trouble with the draincasket not connecting to my nutrient paste pipes. i put pipes on all four tiles and tried a dripper at the head of the casket but neither seemed to work. am i doing something wrong? i also limited their nutrition to nutrient paste meals because i am manually feeding them.
also, just a BIG thank you for all these mods. i am not only addicted to rimworld, but also to all of vanilla expanded

can you make Corpse feeding or corpse extraction drop all the gear and bionics on a corpse.

having the WHOLE corpse, gear and all, just delete.... kind of sucks. I do what I can to mitigate this, but still....

Plague is a disease, not an infection
Skyl3lazer 11 Aug @ 10:58am
I've been experiencing the same thing today - human baseliner pawn has Plague, filter blood isn't doing anything at all.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 11 Aug @ 12:38am
@Ronald Hardest: You use the ability to extract it. Strigoi have it.

@Vahn Noa: The target didn't have an infection
Vahn Noa 10 Aug @ 9:23pm
I've noticed in a lot of situations, the Bruxa filter blood isn't having any effect at all. Any ideas what is causing this?
Ronald Hardest 10 Aug @ 2:48pm
Is there any way to extract animal hemogen? It has a sprite, and exists in the mod files, but I can't figure out any way of actually getting it in-game other than the "spawn thing" dev command.
G-Fiti 2 Aug @ 6:13am
If I may add a suggestion: Beeing fed on by a Bruxa should not give negative mood buff. What if it gave a positive one? What it it could have a chance of beeing addictive? 👀
evanstaylor2007 1 Aug @ 4:52pm
Is there actually a way to extract hemogen packs from other sauguphages for the genes that require other saunguphadge hemogen?
JetLag. 31 Jul @ 12:53pm
Also having issues with the draincasket being piped to nutrient paste. They starvin!
theothersteve7 30 Jul @ 10:04pm
Is anyone else's draincaskets not accepting nutrient paste from the pipe network?
HunterAlpha1 30 Jul @ 4:37pm
Is there a way to let vamps share caskets and other sanguophage buildings? Trying to save space on my ship once I finally make the jump to 1.6.
mrChnky 28 Jul @ 7:27pm
@Mr Crowley, only changing the stockpile priorities. U can place a tap, make it higher priority than a drain and forbid hemogen everywhere else. So you'll have only two stockpiles for hemo in ur colony, one of which is almost always full. And just use same priorities for other taps and drains.
Mr Crowley 28 Jul @ 9:34am
Any recommendations on what to do with pawns stuck in hauling endless loops between the Hemogen tap and drains?
Gleem 26 Jul @ 3:22pm
Is it intended for a pawn in the hemohunter mental state to run around doing every drug they can find instead of, ya know, seeking out blood? They'll ignore non-sango pawns, ignore blood packets, and just get REALLY high on opium.
girlkisser 26 Jul @ 8:55am
Awesome, thanks. I'm having a blast exploring this mod.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 25 Jul @ 11:21pm
Yes
girlkisser 25 Jul @ 5:20pm
Hey, I was messing around with Ekkimian and I noticed that whle they don't have the normal Bloodfeed gene, they can still consume Hemogen packs and it gives them human Hemogen. Is this intended? It would certainly help their scalability, allowing them to switch to a Hemogen type without caps at the time where you can install bionics and such to raise stats well past Corpse Hemogen's caps, but the Ekkimian description makes it sound like it might not be.
Omnicow 22 Jul @ 10:33pm
whats the point of smaller versions of the pump/amplifier ?
Kirrouk 22 Jul @ 2:06am
The torpor devices consume an insane amount of energy on the ship. They use about twice as much as the rest of my entire ship. Does anyone have a guide on how to tweak this?
Artorias 20 Jul @ 1:20am
It's so annoying that humans will take the blood bags and add them directly to the draincaskets.
arzzult 18 Jul @ 6:57pm
I've notice people instantly dying when put in drain caskets, but only when there is something else connected to the network. The culprit in my case was the Gene Extractor Tiers pods. Don't feel like trying pin that down and filing a proper bug report atm. Might do some testing later and see if that's the only problem or if it's things other than drain caskets on the same network in general.
Elvi 18 Jul @ 5:06pm
@Soky Ah, thank you very much for responding, I am not sure why Steam updated it weirdly, but deactivating, unsub, resub, enable clearly fixed it and I do even see where the 20 meals a day comes from now, with the proper version. Thanks again, it would be incredibly sad to play without this!

Edit: Actually, the nutri value is correct now, but haulers still just pick up the bloodpacks and feed that to the draincaskets, and the nutrition setting has no options to disable that if the blood os closer than actual food. Is that still version problem?
Vinni Pukh 18 Jul @ 4:25pm
My newly converted Ekkimian pawn currently wants to change up his hair style at the stylist station, and I don't know how to tell the poor guy that bald is it.

I don't know if it's something that could be changed or not, but despite the unfixable -2 mood penalty, it's equally sad and hilarious that he lost his hair and now desperately wants to have it back lmao
Soky 18 Jul @ 4:14pm
You're using an old version of the mod. In the old version, the nutrition given to draincaskets wasn't considering food nutrition, just the amount of food you put in.

I've made a bunch of changes to how they work. The nutrition of the food you put in matters now. The nutrition consumption matches with what your colonists eat, and it scales with their hunger rate as well (along with their output). And the max nutrition capacity was decreased from 50 to 5 to compensate for those changes (but it'll last longer than it used to in the past).
Elvi 18 Jul @ 3:26pm
Since 1.6 empty draincaskets consume food, as well as nutrition settings don't seem to work (closest food item is used, even if forbiden).
Also did the casket always eat around 20 nutrition (enough food for 10 colonists) per day? I'm really not sure if I never noticed or this is new.
Soky 18 Jul @ 8:20am
To clear up some confusion on draincaskets due to some recent updates:

If they aren't refilled by your colonists and nutrient paste network - this should only happen if someone is inside of a draincasket (or for nutrient paste network, is queued to enter in the next update). This was done to prevent wasting your food while a draincaskets is laying around unused. Also, the nutrient paste network will only refill the draincasket if it's missing at least 1 point of nutrition.

As for why someone is dying instantly in the draincasket - I haven't been able to reproduce it on my own side. However, I may have found what's causing it and fix will be included in the next update. I'm really hoping this is the cause for the bug, as I have no idea what else could be causing it.
girlkisser 18 Jul @ 6:55am
Dang, thank you.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 17 Jul @ 10:47pm
Only humans
girlkisser 17 Jul @ 1:40pm
You can't put animals into draincaskets, can you? My Strigoi's hemogen is getting a real hassle to manage since colony animals will go manhunter if you try feeding on them, and you can't hemogen farm or even manually schedule hemogen extraction from animals (unless they're downed, which would involve anaesthesia and seems to kill them), so if I'm just missing a command somewhere that'd save me a headache...

I am posting this message across all of our mods because many people seem to have forgotten about it:

- We do not check comment sections for bug reports. There is simply too many mods and too many comments section to keep track of it.
- We are not looking into fixing bugs reported in the comment section. We have no way to do so. There is no logs, and no information viable for bug fixing.
- We only look into fixing and fix bugs reported using our Google Forms for bug reporting, and only if all the required logs are attached.
- The google form can be found here: https://forms.gle/rzJpjpBUijBGhpcy7
- Please do not report bugs in the comments anymore. Leave the comments for questions and feedback. Report bugs properly or not at all.

ESSENTIAL 16 Jul @ 5:40am
had a draincasks on my gravship. if i had someone (colonist and/or prisoner. dont know for slave but id assume the same thing happens) in them when i took off they would be left behind. staying apart of the map while i left. and when id land they would be gone. is this a problem for anyone else? i found just taking them out of the casks for the trip and then they would stay on ship
Cheynobyl 15 Jul @ 3:22am
Posting this for both VE psycasts and VE Sanguophage.

Currently have a Sang colonist who seems to have her deathrest bugged. Previously, she could deathrest just fine, but her psyfocus never went up while doing so despite it being a meditation focus.

Now, when I try to pop her in the coffin, she goes up to 20% deathrest, and then her deathrest starts declining as if she were awake. The game even gives the line "This colonist must deathrest in X days" while she's in the coffin.

I've tried removing the focus, and the bug still persists. First time encountering this despite playing the save for several, several hours now with no prior problems regarding this colonist's deathrest.

Only thing effecting both are VE psycasts, VE sanguophage, and the additional Hemosage mod for VE psycasts.

@Qu Koi Feijoa yes! it was mentioned in their reddit post

Changelog in descript says "see Changenotes" but change notes tab is just the auto generated stuff ...where's the changenotes?

I don't know where better to ask this, so I'm writing here. Can we expect Vanilla Expanded Race on Starjacks from Odyssey?
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 14 Jul @ 9:34am
No need, Sokyran is reworking them from scratch
Zef 14 Jul @ 9:32am
@zen: I have the exact same issue, my colonists are feeding the prisoners hemogen packs from time to time even though in the nutrition tab per draincasket they are only allowed simple meals and raw food/plants.

Make a bug report of it aswell so it get's noticed faster!
Zen 14 Jul @ 8:15am
It looks like draincasket nutrition settings don't actually do anything - I have a hemogen tap nearby and all caskets are set to not use hemogen, yet they'll just waste the hemogen feeding the prisoners with it.
Mr. Grey 14 Jul @ 5:58am
@Sarg Bjornson It is a visual glitch indeed.

@Wrathless: You ain't getting shit unless you report it correctly

@Mr. Grey: Base game visual glitch
Mr. Grey 13 Jul @ 7:48pm
The body inside the draincasket vanishes if i zoom out too much.

I'm getting endless repeating blood moon events on starting a colony. Causes a crash. Any thoughts on what might cause the event to repeat forever?

Gandalf The Queen 12 Jul @ 1:54am
@lastsamurai for now just eject them before liftoff
LASTSAMURAI 11 Jul @ 10:10pm
I seem to be running into a bug where if I have pawns in the drain casket when my grav ship takes off it leaves the paws on the previous map.
Guinea 6 Jul @ 10:07am
Oh, i understand. My bad! Thanks for the reply.
