Bear in mind if the mesh (weapons, armor, etc) they wear does not correspond to an actual item, or the NPC itself does not have a loot inventory to begin with, it's likely this mod will not work for those specific NPCs.
Since then, I guess the main difference is that while this one is less configurable, it can also be counted on to just work.
Is there a way to make it so that only the vanilla armors are affected?
So much better, now when i actually kill stronger enemies with better gear, i can loot it for myself or thralls.

The only thing my mod does is identify what the enemy is wearing and make them drop it on death, meaning the enemy may just be wearing only epic if they're only dropping epic.
Bear in mind though that some mods have a small few enemies that are not affected by my mod, so you may miss out entirely on loot against enemies from other mods if I were to implement this option.
