Such a cool concept! I hope it gets updated to B42!

Any chance you could make a way to know the zombie state? like, the character metioning that the zombies now act a different way?

Hey, regarding this: "NS, PZ and RZ: Built-in compatibility. All zombie attributes will be handled by them, zombie behavior will be handled by Reactive Zombies."

So does it mean that I as the user should NOT mess with the settings like "Strength Ratio", "Toughness Ratio" (and maybe the fog/rain/snow intensity settings too?) as this will NOT be utilized when Reactive Zombies detects RANDOM ZOMBIES and similar?

Right now I'm using Random Zombies Day And Night + The Darkness (with darkness's zombie lore module deactivated, so it's purely RZ doing the work, and it works great).

On a side note, is it possible for the Rally group changes (zombie behaviour) to have a full toggle? as it stands, without being able to set Maximum Rally Group Size to 0 as well like Minimum, the author of Wandering Zombies says it won't work together. So CORE gets disabled with RZ+TD, ZB doesn't work with WZ, but Mod Mechanics should be okay.

holy crap this sounds amazing, but regarding Random Zombies ... Does it also work with the Night & Day patch of Random Zombies ...? Because that one allows adjustment to fragile, smart level, toughness, etc, which this mod obviously does .. So would it be correct to assume that you can only use the NORMAL Random Zombies (so speed only) if you want to use this mod also?

When I go to this mod in the folder in game it tells me I can not activate it because I need the mod DD_Zombie but I can not find it

This is the first time I've gotten an error, this occurred during "The Darkness Incoming" event is happening though it happened a bit late during the event. Not sure what happened so I'll paste the code message here.

Is there a way to have it so they "calm down" perse? Like say you stay inside or away from hordes and they go more passive?

I love using this mod but there's a huge problem, anytime 1 zombie goes into last resort mode. They all go into last resort mode automatically. so if i'm running a train of 50 zombies and 1 goes doesn't want to die, they all sprint at me.

Mod says it requires "DD_Zombie," but I can't find that mod? Am I stupid? Does the mod actually require DD_Zombie (whatever that is)?

Hi. I have some problem with this modification. I'm having terrible fps drops. Do you know of any mod conflicts? I read that immersive solar array has conflict, but after turning it off I still have fps drops. Can your mod be added late game?

Alright! So I've done a bit of testing with that brick of mods I posted below. Looks like things are actually fairly, random, and interesting? Most of the zombies break into homes to hide from the sun. So all the homes are full of zombies during the day. During the night, the zombies roam and feed on the dead zombies corpses nearby. Some still linger in homes, but the randomness of it encourages a sense of immersion? During the night, the zombies are acting destructive. During the Darkness events, they're all just doing their night routine only as super tough insane sprinters.

Thanks man. Your mod is amazing and has enhanced my game to a level of immersion I never thought Zomboid would reach. You've done such a good job!

I'm gonna take this little challenge list I have gathered and roll a super broken character and try to survive in Raven Creek. Let the struggle begin!

@Breezy, the save won't break if you disable the mod. Zombie behavior and attributes will be the ones at that time and I can't do anything to change that (as far as I know, will investigate if I can add a check or something at some point). You can use other mods like the change sandbox settings one and use it to leave everything like it was.

haha I feel you, thank you for letting me know its not compatible for now. I just prefer to use that one because you can customize everything about zombies during the Day, Night & one other custom "Special" condition (understandably if that level of customization is not required, RZombies + NSprinters is enough).

The "special" zombies could be like...if you want 99% crawlers when the weather is foggy/ rainy/ snowy for example.

Love the modpack so far, just started a run with the linked modpack - plus a few relating to auto repair - and noticed stuttering in my game. Is this something that happens when running the modpack normally?

Actually I kind of "fixed" the client-side thingy last update, so no wasting extra resources, but still, zombie updates won't be perfect as mentioned

@Lucky, pretty much, yeah. Popular mods are mostly covered though!

@yO, zombie updates are the problem in MP. Also, features like Last Resort or Player Playstyle aren't built with MP in mind. Basically I have to re-build the entire code xd. Possible bugs? Not many, just that Zombie updates will happen not only server-side, but also client-side, meaning you're wasting resources on doing something the server should do, and possibly causing the zombies to be idle for a couple of seconds (which can break immersion). Other than that, it will work as long as SaveWorldEveryMinute in server.ini isn't 0.

Hey JulianFVM! This looks like one the best mods out there. Me and my friend have been talking a lot about making zombies more interesting and challanging, and what we found in this mode is like 90% of what we'd want zombies to behave like. BUT... MP is not supported? Any news in regards to that? Is it in plans?

Last question, if a mod adds special zombies with unique attributes, would this mod override there stats with out a patch?

Many things of my mods collide with it. I could make it compatible, but it hasn't been updated for a year and a half or so. I'm not making my mod compatible with something that could be broken at this point. Sorry!
