Ahh yes, my:
11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700KF @ 3.60GHz (16 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
32768MB RAM
And NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
Yes, my "Toaster".
I'll tell ya', it really does keep my apartment nice and 'toasty' in the winters. I don't even need to turn on the heater, the furnace. But it's killer in the summers; Puts the AC on overtime.
If you ain't got a 'beast of a machine', less PPG is better, smaller map is better. Plus they never fixed the AI to move all stacked units at once; They still move stacks, 1 unit at a time; And that, in turn, causes a lot of time wasted when there are 12 players with massive armies.
It absolutely works until you hit late game, then the extreme density takes a very long time for the AI to complete turns, as well as graphically move all the units.
Will also cause Lag up the booty butt, will hit 15fps with good gpu
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO
Been trying to load a map with the umbral abyss yet the problem still remains, just endless loading....
Turn off the umbral layer and poof" Works fine, wich is a real shame
I'm running this with at least 50 other mods and then some, it does generate and load, but it does take at least 10 to 20 minutes on a pretty powerful desktop.
This is with underground and gloom layers ofc.
Has anyone confirmed gotten it to work post-gloom update WITH all layers?
Strongly wish for following settings to be added to map creation:
A slider for maximum number of cities a player can create, with or without captured cities counting to the max.
And/or a setting that new cities can only be created from already existing ruins on the map, with a slider to their spawn as well. Cheers and thanks again for maintaining this mod and lovely game!
Also I would totes be down for even more factions! A fantasy planets-worth of wizard kings and dragons to battle for supremacy over sounds epic to me :D.
For those requesting more than 12 players. I'll take some time in the future to investigate if it's viable. I have a feeling the UI might need some more work to support it.

Hi .THX for the work。can you make a 16 players mod.12 players is not enough for huge map..
From how I understand it, it is the next 'game patch'. As the mod seems to be completely incompatible with the current version of the game's mechanics; And Bas needs to talk to some of the other devs to work out a fix.
I may be wrong; But that's just how I read it.
A few weeks to a month for a Fix you have already discovered is one thing, but a full update cycle? It's a little bit...daunting, don't ya think?
Anyone I'm done running my mouth. Sorry for the wall of text
While yes, historically this mod has been able to survive undamaged since it's original inception in 2023, that streak has come to an end because of said structural shift in the base game itself. Moreover, the supposed Eldritch Realms Fix never came like what has allegedly been claimed in the description, so I hope it isn't imprudent to say that confidence in such a statement is limited.
