Looks like quite a few updates happened for the upcoming Griffon patch and this does not work with the most recent game version, will need an update. Which I hope you can do! all my custom races feel very bland without the extra options.

Is there a way to make a fly trait? Something to disable mounts and give wings like the angelic or demonic transformations. I'm tired of chickens and dodos, I want to play true avians.Maybe with a hp/armor debuff so it can be 3 points, like -8 hp and -1 armor

@Morsrealm Thanks for making me aware. Should be good now. Seems to have been broken since they changed frenzy to apply 2 stacks on single attacks

Frenzy trait doesn't seem to be working. Played Feudal aristocrats, defender and archer didn't gain any Strengthened stacks on attacks.

I just got to say thank you I was not going to use this mode becuse of stone skin... i had it on yesterday. and I was like nope I dont wont this used againts me. to day I seen you took it down off. wich thank god.. so know I going to use this mod. I think it will be mostly fine. close to banlced game I am guiseing thank you kaige for good fair mod

Stoneskin was removed because the recent removal of the old Tough/Resistance traits (+2 Defense/Resistance) made permanent stoneskin too strong compared to any of the vanilla traits, even for 5 points

Stoneskin (and maybe others?) seems to have fallen off though. I assume its because the list has limits?

@Royal Greed its fine, i have been using for ages (pun intended) already finished 2 maps with 100+ turns with the GK expansion.

Ugh...I'm trying, trying hard to create a disadvantage trait mod. After (way too much time and much humbling,) I located Hero Background traits in the resource editor...obviously that had nothing to do with the form traits that I'm looking for...I want to make a mod like yours, but add disadvantages, any idea what file I'll need to add to the resource manager to mess with form traits? (I was wondering why there aren't more mods out there, the number of techies who are interested in extensive mods has to be small, I salute you!)

This mod has traits that do the same but as racial transformations *as applying them immediately no longer works properly)

What happend to some form traits like living dead, plantoid etc? I saw that they disappeared when i wanted make new faction which uses one of them.

Can confirm that this mod does not work with multiplayer. It says out of sync when trying to connect to the host of the session. Removing this one mod from the list did in fact fix the problem.

FYI, this mod does not work in multiplayer.

While the mod is installed, nobody can join my lobby and vice versa. Removing this one mod from the list fixed it.

modders can get around this by making uncosmetic minor racial transformations, relating to a form trait

I'm having the strangest time with this mod today after updating to the newest patch - every time I load my save file it says I have an outdated version of this mod - apparently I have 4.something (ends in 165 or 167) but the game is expecting version 5.something. I've unsubscribed and re-subscribed a few times and still get the same message. It doesn't seem to be breaking anything and the game is still working fine, so I don't think this is a big problem, but I can't seem to get it to update and/or understand that it has been updated.

@Cyleal, i run a lot of mods, some give racial transformations that buff plants.
one makes your race give strengthened to adjacent plant units. All my racial units are plant units

@Stepover34 I have an army of implings that are red goblins with the fiend trait led by an ascended demonkin. They just don't feel right without the fiend trait

@Cyleal, as a player who prefers roleplaying, i rely heavily on the subtype traits.

in unit properties, add "Unit Type" - Group, "Unit Type" - Resistances, Unit Property Group - Identifier "Unit Type"
