Fertility Genes

Assuming those use the sterile gene, or some variation thereof, no gene will be able to make them fertile. Any effect that multiplies fertility by 0 permanently makes the pawn sterile.

If I'm using the Warhammer 40K mods to make Space Marines, could I use these to make the marines fertile?

Just some new textures that Moka made.

so whats in the new update ?
Alite  [author] 24 Sep, 2023 @ 12:33pm
The archite mod is probably better, but I like that idea. I'll tweak the description some to take some aspects from hyper fertile.
CheeseWheelGuy 24 Sep, 2023 @ 11:54am
i'd like to suggest a new description for the archite fertility gene. forgive me if this is the wrong place to do this.

"This individual's reproductive cells have been sent into overdrive by archites. Being in the same room is definitely a concern..."

Based on my limited understanding of the pregnancy system, I think it can be done, but it would require code that's beyond my current ability.
Demosteres 9 Aug, 2023 @ 6:28am
Anyway to make a pawn capable of being fertilizing a extracted ovum but not carrying a pregnancy? (ie only being able to having a child by using growth vats?)
Joselito 12 Jul, 2023 @ 9:26am
Don't worry!

I asked for multiple babys at once because I think vanilla animals can do it

The bad things is that with Alpha Genes you can speed your pregnacy to x25, so, I thinked that just changing x25 to x50 or x75 the mod was ready
Alite  [author] 11 Jul, 2023 @ 11:59am
Sorry for forgetting to post here, I did look into them, and I have bad news on both fronts.

I've determined that I wouldn't know where to begin on multiple children per pregnancy due to how the pregnancy code was created. With how it was created, I would essentially have to try to recreate and alter the entire pregnancy system so that it would even be able to have a second child in a pregnancy, and that's not even including complications arising from a varying number of potential children. It might be possible, but it is beyond my current capabilities.

As for pregnancy speeds, it unfortunately looks like Alpha Genes is your best option for those. While I am capable of extending the two choices they have, that would essentially be me copy pasting their code with slightly changed values, which would hinder my ability to sleep at night. If you're looking for more options for pregnancy speeds, I'd recommend checking in with them to see if they can add a couple more genes to the list.

Can I know if there is some progress about pregnacy boosters? just asking

Always happy to hear more ideas. If you have any other feel free to pitch them here or on the Discord server [discord.gg].
CheeseWheelGuy 28 Jun, 2023 @ 12:08pm
sick, glad you like the idea, and thanks for considering my suggestion! hope all is well with your irl stuff, and hope that your future mods get the popularity they deserve!
Alite  [author] 28 Jun, 2023 @ 11:56am
I like that idea. I don't think I'll put it in this mod just because that would extend beyond the normal biotech genes range a bit more than this mod intends to, but I could make a mod that creates a bunch of archite versions of the genes that my More Biotech Style Genes Series adds. I'd be putting additional checks in it to make sure that people only see genes based on the mods they have installed, but I'll have to see what future me comes up with.

The other stuff I was trying to take care of appears to be calming down now, so hopefully I can start making more mods instead of just adding more things to my list.
CheeseWheelGuy 28 Jun, 2023 @ 11:29am
suggestion: some kinda archite fertility gene. x800% or x1000% more fertility. if this person so much as gives or gets a suggestive look, somebody may end up pregnant. feel free to ignore this suggestion and deal with your irl stuff. all the best to ya, thanks for the great mods.
Alite  [author] 27 Jun, 2023 @ 6:52pm
I made an update to Integrated Lovin' and Fertility Genes that adds fertility and libido genes to the Alpha Genes Xenotypes along with various VRE Xenotypes wherever I believe they fit. If you use that mod and red stuff starts popping up when you run the game, let me know I messed up the process somewhere.

I'm doing fine, I'm just receiving a masterclass lesson about how when work calls, it really calls.
Joselito 23 Jun, 2023 @ 5:44am
Don´t worry for my suggestiong, I hope you´re ok
Alite  [author] 22 Jun, 2023 @ 10:38am
Hello. Sorry about not getting back to you on the pregnancy stuff. The past few weeks have been increasingly busy for me thanks to outside factors, so I haven't been able to work on modding stuff.

At the moment, I wouldn't know where to start for allowing more than one baby to exist in the same pregnancy, but I'm going to put it later in my mod ideas in case I come up with a good idea later. Unless someone else comes up with a good system for it before me, then I'll probably just end up linking to that whenever I end up trying my hand at a pregnancy speed mod.
Joselito 22 Jun, 2023 @ 9:34am
Hi? :(
Alite  [author] 5 Jun, 2023 @ 5:27am
I made More Biotech Style Genes - All In One . This is for people who want all, or at least most, of the Genes I've created in my More X Genes series. As a warning, it takes directly from those mods, so if there's a change from one of them you don't want, you'll need to download individual mods.
Joselito 2 Jun, 2023 @ 10:04am
Yeah! Or the capability of having multiple babys at once!
Alite  [author] 1 Jun, 2023 @ 2:55pm
When you say pregnancy genes, do you mean genes that change the amount of time the pawn is pregnant? I'll add it to my list, but that one might take a little bit for me to do.
Joselito 1 Jun, 2023 @ 2:01pm
suggestion: pregnacy genes
Alite  [author] 30 May, 2023 @ 9:01am
Looks like making it a gene isn't really feasible. I pushed my last attempt to github, but genes don't appear to be set up to allow changing how pawn stats are calculated, only what is added to the calculation. It might be possible with C#, but I'll leave that to someone else. https://github.com/KonradHeinser/AlwaysFertileGene

I made a global version of it though, for anyone who's interested.

cool, thanks. Even if it doesn't work I would love to take a look at it, maybe i can figure something out
Alite  [author] 30 May, 2023 @ 6:44am
I'm going to mess around with adding it as a gene, but if that doesn't work out I'll just make a general edit. I'll post here once I have it published.
TSense 30 May, 2023 @ 6:13am
in general or as a gene, both would work for me
Alite  [author] 30 May, 2023 @ 5:21am
When you're talking about adding a flat 5%, do mean just adding it to the game in general, or trying to make a gene that does that? If it's the first one, I should be able to do that without an issue. If it's the second one, I'll have to mess around with it to see if I can make Rimworld do that.

Alternatively, because the vampire should be ageless, you can do age reversal in the biosculpting pod until they are biologically 19-27. Their ageless nature means that they will always be at maximum age fertility multiplier by their mid 20s, because they won't ever biologically age after that..
TSense 30 May, 2023 @ 4:32am
It seems these genes are multipliers from 10% to 500%. I have a 80 year old vampire who has a age related 0%. Do you have any idea if rimworld can add a flat +5% or some sort of minimum fertility? I understand enough to open mods with text editors and make a few changes, but I am not skilled enough to solve this on my own.
Like an "always Fertile" gene, the opposite to sterile
Alite  [author] 16 May, 2023 @ 7:10am
I added an integration mod that includes these into base Biotech xenotypes. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2976573675
Alite  [author] 11 May, 2023 @ 5:55am
@warmaniac That is such an obvious idea I'm ashamed I didn't think of that. Here you go: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2974405875
Shard 10 May, 2023 @ 9:21pm
Thank you, I kept meaning to make this for myself, but haven't touched Rimworld in a while. Looks like a must-have. I was always annoyed at the only options being super-fertile or sterile or normal.
warmainiac 10 May, 2023 @ 9:05pm
could you do something simular, but for lovin?
