@TurtleShroom: Check the description. The entire code can be found on github, including comments. (Also, check out Android tiers - TX Series (Squid Edition) . That'd probably take away a lot of work.)

@gooberone: Are you on the correct version? MH is only for 1.4. For 1.5, use ABF (See description). If you are on 1.4, try un- and re-subscribing to this, its dependencies, and mods that depend on it.

My game's been refusing to generate, people are having this problem with uh. Android Tiers for the original too. Maybe something to do with Humanoid Alien races, since I forgot to turn that off.

@Latex Santa: That is very much valid. I've been telling our main coder to make this stuff optional from the start, but he won't listen and is currently too busy to do anything about it anyway. I'll keep bringing it up whenever I can.

The 1.2 or 1.3 versions were the peak of Android Tiers. They were NEARLY PERFECT.
While the new versions have some decent features, I REALLY dislike the maintenance aspect.
One of the biggest strengths of these android pawns was that they basically needed NO SLEEP (or sleep equivalent).
Now I'd either have to work them in shifts, and force them to manually maintain themselves when I want to sent them on a world map adventure or to raid some fools, or sit there and watch them "sleep".
This is why I largely don't play organic colonies anymore - I have to give a damn about their PWECIOUS FEEWINGS, then sit there and watch them sleep instead of them working and fighting to advance my in-game ambitions.
Seriously lame.
And without Android Tiers, I don't give much of a damn about RimWorld anymore.

when i implant a t1 or t2 brain in an android, it will stop moving and get incapacitated, any solution for this??

@babbit09: I've been telling him to do this since this project began and he started making unpopular changes. He responded that it's his mod and if you don't like it you can go into the code yourself and change it, and while that is within his right, I am very much opposed to doing things this way and will keep pestering to change his mind.

As for the locked comments: It's his way of telling everyone he currently does not have time to do modding. Once he returns, I will urge him to re-enable them.

While I respect that he (and the rest of the team) have continued to update this mod, not allowing comments is a *huge* red flag imo. If I had to join a server to fix a mod, odds are I'm just gonna uninstall the mod. Additionally, why not enable a toggle in the mod that enables them to be industrial? He can play how he wants, we can play how we want, everybody wins. I'd enjoy a set of toggles that make it more inline with how Android Tiers was back in 1.3, all this lubrication and such just feels more like a hassle tbh.

@supasaiyajinrosekaiokenx: Killathon is knee-deep in work and can't deal with reading comments atm. Until this situation improves, only minor fixes will be implemented.

If industrial androids were possible, we'd have them by now. That was too much fun for Killathon - Balance is king for him.

i dont get why 1. we cant comment on synstructs and 2. why they were made to be spacer tech when the basic ones made sense to be in industrial. why cant we criticise the new one?

@Spoodwaigon: Medicine does not work for artificial life (unless you enable it in the settings). You need repair stims (machining table).

can't install victual assistant to my T2 android, I have no idea what's causing the issue. Like, seriously? I have more medicine than you could buy with the profit you get from selling human leather chairs, with a character that has 15+ in intellectual, and yet I still require 2 medicine to do a surgery. Checked the android's and pawn's medicine restriction, no problem here. Relocated the medicine to shelves, to stockpile zones, still nothing. What do I do here?

@Server_333: To avoid breaking saves. If you loaded an MHC save with ABF, your game would crash - A lot of things changed under the hood, hence we decided it would be for the best. Plus, Killa wanted to rebrand it to be more flexible.

To whom it may concern:
The 1.5 version of this mod is separate and has been released: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3284097810

This version will remain in 1.4 only and will receive updates only if/when GitHub pull requests are submitted and accepted (such as for translations). My other submods will be brought to 1.5 as new versions under a new "brand" name to continue the decoupling from Android Tiers. The current ETA for those versions is sometime this next weekend.

As always, please bring all feedback to Discord, as I do not monitor the Steam workshop.

so.... why has this mod been squeezed out and rebranded 6 times maybe we would actually have something on time if we didnt recode the whole damn thing for 2% more efficiency like jfc absurd that this mod has gotten this broken at this point used to be so solid and bug free tragic experience

Question though: Isn't there charging station anymore like in the old mod? I can only find the charging pod, meaning i have to either have as many charging pods (or carry in my caravans) as i have androids or charge each of them manually using one pod - because the charging pod always gets occupied by an owner since it's a bed and only that one android then uses it. The charging station solved this issue and made it possible to charge 8 androids at once. 🤔

@LarsSvengard: Artificial Beings Framework will be the successor to this mod for 1.5. While the name change is only cosmetic, there have been numerous changes under the hood as well.

@Gameking117: This mod does not work in 1.5, in case that's what you tried. If you're having issues in 1.4, try un- and re-subscribing to any mods you recently downloaded/updated. Steam sometimes doesn't download mods correctly.

It's a shame, I really loved these mods, but the continual reworking and even renaming is just too much.
