The skill should be on the right hand side of the spell line, as two separate nodes

Equipped items show up on the left at their portrait I'm pretty sure.. Now you have me guessing myself 😂

seen it in a game on the right items bar, like an equipped item from the char menu, not something you put points into.

Yes it can be added. It appears over the left near their portrait

can this be added after the start, as I'm playing Grand Cathy, turning 35, and not seeing the counter spell appearing with any LL or generic Lord or Hero spell casters, where should the spell appear in the skill tree?
I am using SFO's latest 5.2.2

Updated, given multiple levels

Will not work on damage spells after they have been launched.
