Testing today the dog suddenly die while being indoors right next to me and it was not due to hunger or thirst.

The only explanation i can think of is corpses sickness which i didnt notice since i had a mask on with the working masks mod. Could that be the reason?

If so, is there a way to make the dogs inmune to corpses sickness somehow?

It's not that simple as just changing the format like some other mods. This would likely need to be rebuilt from the ground up to take the new animals systems into account.

that was so fast omg Thanks! but i should ask for something else, can u make an option to teleport de dog near you? so you can trip enywhere and TP the dog, It could be a temporary fix to the dogs not getting into the cars.

As fun as this mod is, I have to uninstall because my dog keeps walking into my campfire. Amazing mod though.
