problem boiling silo here still here no..... pls remake fix! NOW!
Nitsah 10 Jun @ 10:07am
I remember there used to be boiling terrain which was purple was this removed?
ElysianEcho 30 May @ 4:21am
also if the rain could stop putting burns on internal organs maybe lol
ElysianEcho 29 May @ 12:53pm
any chance for the sand around hotsprings to work with VE crops sand grow zones?
MangoCobra 19 May @ 5:08pm
Would you consider having the Boiling Rain be less... Horrible to endure?
Schadock [The Angeloids] 5 May @ 1:36pm
could it be possible to make the edaku and the boilberries plantable?
StockSounds 25 Apr @ 8:50am
Which variable makes the boiling rain cause damage to pawns? I'd like to do the same sort of deadly rain in my own mod.
Fish n' Chips 14 Apr @ 5:27pm
Just a heads up folks, unlike other ReGrowth mods, this one is not patched by Combat Extended, meaning the Owlbeast will be pretty underwhelming. I'd suggest CherryPicker to disable the Owlbeast if you want to use the biome.
The Wizard-Jester 21 Mar @ 5:38am
Are the owlbeasts supposed to have such crazy regen? I thought I was gonna lose mine to blood loss only for me to check on them walking back to base no wounds what so ever.
podge98 19 Mar @ 3:46pm
I have a dumb question...would this clash with alpha biomes?
Phantomz 3 Mar @ 5:28pm
The Owlbeast sprite is super cool. Kinda me wish there was a similar mod to the re:growth extinct animals one but with fantasy beasts or at least just a way to get the Owlbeast without the new weather event and world tiles cuz I don't really use them as much.
deadmanreaper13 11 Feb @ 11:40pm
can boilberries be added to Regrowths Berry Cultivation research?
Bitterholz 7 Feb @ 11:03am
Why is VE Architect listed as compatible? Shouldnt all mods that just add structures be compatible?
Wraith_Magus 3 Feb @ 6:26am
I love the legally-distinct genetically engineered owlbear. I honestly find it a bit sad that this is a setting with genetic engineering that allows the people in-universe to make whatever creatures they want, and so few people want to mod in creatures that are anything but real-world animals or just go for pure fantasy "dragons were living on this planet before it was canonically terraformed." It feels like a waste that nobody is running with "there are elves here because a noble said 'hey, I want to live a really long time and be pretty, so genetic engineer me into having long ears and an even longer life! Counterbalance? Bah, I'll never work, so just take out some bone density or something.'"
(≡◉‿‿◉≡) 6 Jan @ 3:38am
I love this Boiling biome together with Aspen Forest, except for the fact that the biome density is so little. I just wish you increased the spawning tiles of this biome.
gh0stashes 27 Dec, 2024 @ 3:11pm
Same as @FluffDragon, Boiling rain damage can't be disabled, except I'm on 1.5, not 1.4. I wanted to make a pleasure resort colony where folks can live in luxury near the hot springs but instead they're all hiding inside miserable because the rain is burning them and spawning a million infections.
Harlowe 14 Nov, 2024 @ 1:08pm
Just wondering, is it normal for a late stage colony built in this biome to have to have a massive number of "Regrowther: ticked X out of X" logs?
FluffDragon 8 Oct, 2024 @ 11:19am
The toggle to disable boiling rain damage does not appear to function. 1.4, not using any other mods that would logically interfere.

This makes the biome close to unplayable due to how badly a lot of core game mechanics interact with the rain..
Toraoh 7 Oct, 2024 @ 4:18pm
I don't know if it's a bug or just not properly named, but whenever i get a paid forced weather for a rainy thunderstorm, it always turns out to be a boiling thunderstorm, but the game still says it's a rainy thunderstorm.
このヘンタイ! 29 Sep, 2024 @ 4:28am
Boiling rain cause huge performance when traders in map
they will get burn damage and won't move but keep spam tending until hungry and died
jonilgz 28 Sep, 2024 @ 3:33am
Owlbeast's health regen its crayz, a bit OP.
MORROGANDER 19 Aug, 2024 @ 10:19am
Boiling forest is definitely my favorite biomes mod, I've being enjoying it, don't think I can play without it in future games.
Thanks for creating this great mod!
TSense 14 Aug, 2024 @ 4:15am
okay seems to be a conflict with "Configurable Maps"
TSense 13 Aug, 2024 @ 4:09pm
I just crashlanded in my first boiling forest only to find sand... and nothing else. There are no trees.
What kind of conflict could this be?
MORROGANDER 7 Aug, 2024 @ 11:28pm
@greatorder you need to restart the game, worked for me
MORROGANDER 7 Aug, 2024 @ 11:23pm
Hygiene Need is still fulfilled when pawns use Hot Spring as a recreation tho.
MORROGANDER 7 Aug, 2024 @ 11:22pm
With Dubs Bad Hygiene, pawns seem to only take a bath in ReGrowth Boiling Hot Spring as a recreation.
They will not actively seek to clean themselves with Hot Spring when they are dirty.
I think Dubs Bad Hygiene do not recognize Hot Spring as Water, that's why pawns don't wash themselves around hot spring.
Digit 7 Aug, 2024 @ 8:02pm
OWLBEAST?
Digit 7 Aug, 2024 @ 9:36am
OWLBEAR
monopoda 24 Jul, 2024 @ 1:23pm
The thunderstorm added with this mod should probably be called something like boiling thunderstorm instead of rainy thunderstorm, because it can be confused for the vanilla thunderstorm.
Fredini 18 Jul, 2024 @ 9:34am
Yeah, what is up with the Owlbeast's health regen??

It goes from 1500% bleeding/day with permanent injuries, to right back up in an hour.
Gootsu 10 Jul, 2024 @ 7:59pm
I ask the same as XelNigma why is the Owlbeast has so much heal regen? it even heals brain scar injuries in just few seconds.
greatorder 1 Jul, 2024 @ 1:23pm
I disabled the boiling rain damage, but the damage keeps happening anyways. This some regular bug or a weird mod interaction?
shybread 29 Jun, 2024 @ 8:19pm
Hey! So, is this the only biome that contains hotsprings in Regrowth? I'd like to try them out, and I'm a big fan of owlbears in my rimworld, although I'm not huge about the red/blue colored trees, nor the danger of boiling rain.
XelNigma 28 Jun, 2024 @ 11:27pm
Is the ownbeast suppose to have ghoul levels of healing?
It manhuntered some visitors, beat them. had 7 hours to bleed out and it was fully healed by the time it crossed half the map to stand out infront of my door. Maybe took 1-2 rim hours.
Helixien  [author] 19 Jun, 2024 @ 1:44pm
@Fredini: I agree.
Fredini 19 Jun, 2024 @ 1:41pm
Boiling rain is terrible and poorly implemented.
Chesse5552024 9 Jun, 2024 @ 2:13pm
can lower the bio me generation please.
Molay 10 May, 2024 @ 2:43am
Does this work as expected with Vanilla Expanded Temperatures, in that the hot springs generate a warm area around themselves?
EnderNyktos 27 Apr, 2024 @ 6:03pm
Does Edaku should emit light? Or its description is only because the golden color?
Jiven 13 Apr, 2024 @ 5:46pm
There is a weird interaction with Anomaly's entities: captured entities, under a roof, are burned by the boiling rain.
Yekaterinnani 11 Apr, 2024 @ 10:05pm
Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.TerrainDef named RG_BoilingSoil found to give to RimWorld.TerrainThreshold RimWorld.TerrainThreshold

Like someone said below, it seems when entering on boiling forest biome, most of it is dessert.
Maknae Eats First 11 Apr, 2024 @ 9:41pm
every time i try to settle on a boiling forest tile, most of it is a desert and only a little is a "boiling forest" is that intended?
Helixien  [author] 4 Apr, 2024 @ 12:16am
@Pingas Pincher: Maybe tell future you to also learn how to report errors instead of making a "funny" post that helps no one.
Pingas Pincher 4 Apr, 2024 @ 12:14am
Dear future me, don't add this mod to your kickass list, it keeps popping up with error listings. Not sure why as only Regrowth Biome mods were added. It's like the Aspen Forest mod, pops up with errors. Just leave it out, not worth. Might be safe, but better not to risk.
roko711 21 Feb, 2024 @ 8:11pm
hoot!!!
Protok 17 Feb, 2024 @ 10:23am
@Palms are you on adjacent tile and using Biome Transitions?

P.S. finally, on 69th day pawn called Gem is using indoor bathing zone! Phew
PalmsAreSweaty 17 Feb, 2024 @ 4:25am
Excuse me, how does boiling rain work? I'm in a temperate climate and i had a quest where a machine creates rainy thunderstorm indefinitely. When I have this mod, the rain burns my people. but im not in a boiling biome. Whats going on?
Protok 13 Feb, 2024 @ 5:57am
+ I like the visual of this biome.
+ Idea of "Boiling rain" is not bad.
+ There is a tweak in settings to toggle the damage from rain.
- - I like many pets and this rain drain lots of medicine to heal animals or management and kibble to keep them inside.
- I designate several zones outside and inside for bathing, "Bathing season is here!" and it is 45th day we arrived. No one pawn gets to the bath till now.

Please make a 50% chance of Boiling and Normal rain. Or make tweakable %.
michallenik8 30 Jan, 2024 @ 11:28am
rain gives pawns and animals permanent brian/eye scars
