If it is the new relay boxes, it is bad that everyone wants to change to them, problem if you only convert submarines from others and do not build one yourself, then you are more likely to make mistakes when rewiring.
Last was 24 Crates Storage.
-
And with the one perk of the mechanic it can be upgraded anyway like a level 3 submarine.
-
And I've customised my "Bioms" file, and can buy any level anywhere, so I can take my time when I want to go as far as I want to go, and do any trip I want to do first, no matter what sub I take, without having to go to biome 4 for a level 3 and then wait for a station to become the kind where I can get the sub I want.
Probably not, it doesn't look like it has any controls other than buttons for starting.
It's also not supposed to be a shuttle and be able to do things like that.
Actually quite easy to find out, load the submarine mod, drag it to the active page in the game, load this submarine in the editor that is in the game, and press the arrow symbol for testing in the upper left corner, wait briefly and you can then test it, or look at what is built in and connected to power beforehand.
So I test some mods beforehand to see what they have, and whether they get along with others if they are not submarines. / And submarines what they have as many have more than what they specify.
The Pilgrim, Have 24 Crates
24 is a bit low for a freighter, but usually most cargo missions have only 20 boxes, rarely 25, and rarely less than 20 as often only 5 with much higher mission value.
(Single player save and load / multiplayer out and dock. ) Get more missions, and then you have not always all the transport missions to the same place.
But the submarine has better positioned protection than the original, and a few other things without overdoing it from what is possible.
For me the "The Pilgrim" is a good submarine between the level 1 "Wellerman" and the level 3 "Shiftless".

Alternative poorly protected original R-29 , or any overpowered to cheat submarines , not for me.
So much you can't do visually in 2D, actually a lot of it works but so much of it is unusable and barely playable that they are no fun to use, especially with bots.
So you better take the basic optical model of how original submarines look, and build on the design to make good submarines that work, there are a few that deviate from optical normal and even still work, but that depends on how well one can build a submarine.
What you can build often depends on a game, what it enables.
@BingBong Thank you! Glad you enjoy it.
@Ravi Iscariot Thank you, I'll try and get some of those fixed up!!
@Explosions & Other Rad Shit Welcome Back!! :)
And if you started before V 1.0, you know this from the original submarines, which all can't do it.
The developer changed it after V 1.0 for some of the original submarines.

Level 3 is no longer a problem, as someone explained to me where I have to change something in a file so that I can get level 2 and 3 where I want.
I like to just stand at stations and look at what I want beforehand, but the developer has taken away the option to look at what I want to take later and get it when I'm ready.
I can still use a level 2 though, level 3s usually cost a lot when they have balance.
There are too many mods of this submarine, which are hardly different and old, often with pictures that do not say what is different and info which also hardly says anything.

With the original I thought no I won't take the flak in the back is useless for me they should have put it in the front, you don't drive forward at full speed just to be able to use the turret in the back.
And original below only 1 small turret, and then right next to it the electric plate which also does not bring much if then enemies are too far behind you but below you where the flak above does not help.
That's why I prefer balanced mod submarines, but most of them are level 3, some level 1, but there are hardly any in level 2, except for R-29s, which hardly differ from the original or exaggerate it.
I designed the ship so fast I forgot to add some pumps/duct blocks. Will be fixed shortly.
@QuestionMark?
Thank you both for your feedback! I appreciate it, especially because I released it only an hour ago. <3
I also quickly made a version to support Hungry Europans if that interest you! Check either the link at the bottom of this page or my sub collection. Happy sailing!
