It's to work as capability with Hazardous reactors without a required patch. It's just a warning and does nothing.

@Aspen I can look into it, I prefer not to make capability patches for things I don't actively use because that can quickly just lead to a bunch of mods rotting in my workshop page. But it'd likely be just a one file change.

Just checked it, seems to work fine for the most part if you run it without SWW it just makes the Scrappers Customs talent useless

@Aspen I've started running campaigns again so some changes are getting pushed down. Have you seen if they work well together? I don't remember exactly but I think it's just the Wrecker helmet that uses SWW systems.

No, they tackle suits in inherently different ways. Unless you plan on using Keep You Down i'd recommend Immersive Diving as it's less of a niche based mod and _]|M|[_ is a very active modder in the community. This is just in maintenance mode until I return to Barotrauma.

@hamburgerfaye Try just booting with SWW and Lua to see if it's still a problem. Could either be some kind of conflict or a bugged local copy of the mod.

Well, first you can remain under pressure for long periods, it's when you rapidly get de/compressed that you die horribly. Look up the Byford Dolphin for what this mechanic is based on.
Second, it is just a neat mechanic not physics homework as Mono Person has said. If you're super into realism you should look into making the entire submarine implode rapidly the second a crawler bites a hole into it. Really spend some time on turning player characters into liquid soup.

@International Conglomerate The character will not be able to remain under such internal pressure for long. If the pressure is so different from external pressure, then being in such a spacesuit is life-threatening. Maybe this is some kind of futuristic method of resistance to increased external pressure, but it cannot be explained by the laws of physics.

From the game logic standpoint, it's because you're pressurizing the suit to a higher pressure to resist some of the overbearing pressure from the water outside, so when you break that pressure seal without depressurizing it explodes in the neutral pressure environment.

I always make my dive team keep a second tank on the ship that passively fills up, then you can combine them when needed.

oxy wont warn ya as i said so you gotta pay attention, one side of it its great since immersion but i think an alarm sounding off would make your nerves skyrocket. nice mod though

@ChronoDev If I remember correctly two different warning noises didn't play well together on the helmets so I opted for the seal warning since it's much more devastating. Oxy was working as intended before the update, not sure how it is now.

maybe ya could add an alarm to low oxy. some people are strugglin to notice they are dying from low oxy

@dommygutman Same for every suit, but there's a threshold past your suits maximum pressure rating where it will start to decay way quickly. So in a way seals can decay a lot faster in a slim suit compared to an abyssal suit if you're past the ice caverns.

@dommygutman If it's pressurized diving gear it'd likely get sacked unless it was purely cosmetic. I've no plans on making a capability patch for COR though.

@International Conglomerate Would you also remove the DES-8 and Tactical Helmet? Because they don't provide any depth protection combined anyways. Also regarding the patch would it remove the suit upgrades for the vanilla suits like Reinforced Body, Improved Headgear and etc.

@dommygutman If you mean COR, the diving suits won't act like the suits from Slippery When Wet no. Nothing will break if you do though, I play with COR and have used Enhanced Armaments as well I just don't use the new suits. Capability patch wise i'd literally just remove them from the spawn tables since they kind of beat the purpose of how I wanted to change diving suits.

@International Conglomerate So I assume then it would never work with COL or Enhanced Armaments. Because of their diving suits, especially COL as it has a separate suit and helmet for the green one and a diving suit version with pressure resistance. With the ability to take off helmets from diving suits, the separate suit and helmet becomes useless, as there would be no point not wearing the diving suit version aside from the fact, if I recall the diving suit one is weaker.
Basically the diving suit is just the military exosuit and tactical helmet stitched together, at cost of weaker protection.

@International Conglomerate from what I've seen, a slot that accepts that item on helmet would suffice. The wifi camera transmits even when its hidden inside an object, however it only fits into headgear slot and hand on PC.

It'll likely be a long while before I churn out another capability patch but i'll add it to the todo list. If it's XML it'll likely be pretty easy to implement.

That's actually just the inbuilt capability with Hazardous reactors. If it's stopping you from literally starting the campaign let me know but it should just a be a yellow warning error.

Hazardous reactors uses an affliction called contamination to deal with the short term problems of being in a highly radiated area which my mod just adds resistances for inherently instead of using a separate patch. So if you don't have that mod it'll just warn you that you're apply a resistance to an affliction that doesn't exist.

As for a list of incompatible mods it'd be a rather intensive process to identify everything. Essentially, if it has a suit it'll need a capability patch.

Sadly your mod is not compatible with excellent Wifi Camera mod due to the fact that wifi camera's use headgear slot (just like your helmets).

Would it be possible to create a patch, that ie. adds a slot to helmets where wifi camera's fit? The author of wifi camera already tried to use headset slot for wifi camera, but sadly it didn't worked.

@4Hangar The helmet itself has xml that checks for suit integrity, the rest is handled by LUA. So if lua isn't installed correctly you'll only get one.
