Development on this map has somewhat halted ngl, life kind of gets in the way of stuff like this. If I had much to show for it I'd set up a patreon or ko-fi to give me financial incentive but at present there's no legitimate reason for me to do so. By the time I get home from work, motivation slips quite a lot and I can't seem to make meaningful progress, so the map is currently stagnant. I can't really give an ETA on an update, but I will do my best to finish this up at one point. There's many more maps I have the ambition for but not necessarily the time, but this may potentially be my only map if it never gets finished.

I'm working on it a teeny bit at a time but I've pretty much finished the final PaP area, and I'm doing a full detail pass of the currently playable space. It's gonna be a while until I think it looks professional enough to push an update, but as soon as I do I'll actually start working on the upper bunker that I've been avoiding for a while

I got all the models (and most of the assets in general) for the map on devraw, most of the ww2 models were ripped by ZeRoY with some help from Seth Norris.

As an aside, I am still actively working on the map but progress is agonizingly slow even for my standards. I'm making decent progress despite my slow pace. The pap area is almost complete (one umbra bug is nagging me though) and I've started working on fine details on the lower bunker. I have backups of the map files in case anything goes awry with my hardware as well, so this project will absolutely be completed at some point, just can't possibly say when yet. If only I didn't need a job I'd def be working on it 24/7 lmao. Thanks for the support, I know it's been a while since I had anything new to post.

Where did you get all the models for your map? I'm also creating a custom zombies map based in WW2 and the models you are using would be just perfect for my map.

I gotta get back on the ball with this map ngl, took a few months break to focus on school and work. I'll push an update to the map hopefully by Christmas with the PaP area done and some more detailing on the lower area, once that's done I'll push forward on the upper bunker. I want this to be a detailed and professional looking project by the time I'm done with it.

Progress is underway for development of new areas. When I first watched the film for the contest, I had the bunker's rough layout finalized, using historical records as a guide. Details were heavily based on scenes from the film. I hadn’t realized early on in the film there were a couple walking shots of the Vorbunker, rarely shown throughout the rest of the film. There were far more shots of the Führerbunker and its rooms, so as such it was developed first.
I’ll finely detail everything after I have each room's basic look finished. Afterwards, I need better brushwork, (no unnatural cuts) heavy decal work, (blood, dust, water damage, etc.) better lighting, the use of FX, (smoke/fog, fire, sparks, etc.) 2D and 3D sounds, (ambiance like machine hums, Verrückt screaming, etc.) and other detail.
Expect an update sometime either today or later this week with the Wunderfizz, new lighting, mystery box fixes, rebalanced weapons and perks, and a few more changes I haven’t mentioned.

Whenever I update the map Steam is supposed to auto-update subscribed content, but apparently sometimes it can just not work, like it did in Noah's case when he streamed. I'd say give it about an hour after I release the update and if it doesn't auto-update just unsub>resub and it should work just fine.

I'm waiting for the contest to be over but I've already rebalanced every weapon on the map to be in line with WaW, added proper perk hintstrings, changed the perk icons, fixed the mysterybox sounds, fx, and behavior, made the lighting a little more stylized to my liking, added simple caves behind the barrier spawns so you don't see into the test map, and rebalanced a few perks like Bandolier and Vigor Rush to be more useful to the player. Next up on my list is tweaking the drops, changing the death machine to something a little more fitting, Wunderfizz fixes and implementation, and a bit more detailing before I work on expanding the playable space. I'll likely add more features (such as a simple easter egg for something like hell's retriever or a reskinned, more powerful wunderwaffe) after I finish adding all the playable areas.

I originally intended for there to be a way to increase the perk limit, as well as adding a Wunderfizz machine, but those didn't make it in time. This map will evolve over time so while it shows a little promise now, it's definitely worth checking out way later once everything I plan on adding gets finished up. Later on when I start making changes that will drastically effect balance (like adding new areas and *outrageous maybe* something like a reskinned Brutus or Napalms) I'll probably be asking for more feedback and actually start updating this page.

The map is great but there is one problem. there is a perk limit on the map. plus some perks like phd flopper should be replaced with better perks like double tap 2.0. electric cherry would be a great addition to the map. I'd say add the original 4 perks in the map and remove perks like stamina-up and phd flopper or just add all perks to the map with no perk limit. i love the idea of this map but the perks could be better given house tight the map layout is.

Feedback is much appreciated, especially because I am aware of how blatantly unfinished this map is! Let me know if you guys find any bugs or have suggestions for fine tuning gameplay in general. If it's not fun, why bother? As this is my first map, I know there's definitely room for improvement in all aspects and I plan on properly updating this map after the winners have been announced, so do keep me posted on any critique, constructive or not.
