@Shadowsun™ Tried that just now and it seemed to fix it, even after redownloading some of my other addons it works, I think it might've been a particular addon that has caused me problems with other addons in the past since i dont have it installed anymore and it's working just fine now

@Scout tf2, Make sure that you are nkt subscribed to the original addon, as this can lead to conflicts. Deactivate all add-ons for testing and leave only this one on.

Whenever I attempt to put a video URL into the media player and click "Search for media" an error comes up, the error is as follows

console doesnt provide any errors and doesnt print anything same with chat,i just choose yt video and press request url and nothing happens, i have only this addon and i am on chromium branch

@noob please provide a detail of how you are doing it, any console errors, console prints, chat prints, or any form of what might be happening so we can help you, we can help you much without details.

One thing it could be is conflicting content, please make sure you are not subbed to the original mediaplayer addon, and check other content you are subbed to, also make sure you are on the Chromium branch of gmod.

i have a little issue, when i request url, it isnt adding to the queue

Hey, I've run into a bug where if I open up the PAC event menu when facing the media player, it enables the navigation bar at the bottom, which means when I select something from the PAC menu, it always pauses/resumes the player. I'd like it to stop this behavior. Will this get fixed?

@MrKitty In this case you should use the Cinema mode or use one of the extended prop addons which may have a larger screen or projector.

is there a way to make the screen bigger to fit the cinema screen on a map?

the “ChromiumCache” folder is located in the root directory of Garry's Mod folder ( Right click on the game > Properties > Installed Files > Browse)

Have you even tried using the addons? because ik they work, dont ask questions here when you can legit just sub to the extended mediaplayer addon.

Do you plan on making “media player updated” extended TV’s?, So there are these steam workshop media player mods that uses the old media player but they use different types of TV’s i think the most popular are Sam’s Extend Media tv’s and GTA 5 Media player TV’s, Do you plan on implementing the new media player into these old tv models? Or do we just get the media player base TV? Sorry if this question is long winded.

@kumi I have now fixed this error in Cinema Gamemode, but it still needs to be rewritten for the Media Player. I will do that as soon as I have the time.

@Smak So I've tried it now with an abosolute clean installation of gmod with only x86-64 bit beta. Both the playback and video request works. It may be that YouTube makes a major change in the background that can lead to problems, I'll keep an eye on that.

@Shadowsun™ everything is fine with garry's mod, YouTube stopped working for me because of the latest update, and for my friends too

@Smak & @Ян Флинн Пиздабол. I cannot reproduce this error, but NOT disabling the original media player causes conflicts. Also check the game data for faults with these instructions
