I have played the mission none modded and everything acts as it should.

If it is sicon mod causing the issue then, its an issue with the mod not the map sadly.

I'm unable to fix the issue as its not an issue with the map itself. but the mod causing the problem.

With Sicon mod, happening to me same issue as soon as the rifle squad gets the 3rd star the mission fails due to not keeping alive at least 1 rifle squad.

Happens for me as well with 3 star rifles not counting towards the cap. I'm guessing it's the sicon mod as it's the only thing I use and that's what Escandiel is using too. Can't go without it as I prefer the extra things but at least as mentioned, console solves this since I can just spawn another rifle squad and hide them away.

Hmm I will look into to this issue again, we can't be having this persist through.

When I'm back home in a few days time, I'll fix it a once over.

Okay he is right...

Once you get a 3-Star Promotion of a rifle Squad, you have lost the entire squad.


So most valid solution is to open the console menu and spawn a rifle squad anywhere, to keep timer up at "1" all time.
Add supply 3 and you are good to go for this map

Possible bug possible user is a moron. Down to 9 hives trying to put out the fire on the door. Was told to go the long way around by other point....been all over the map and can't seem to figure out if I missed a trigger point for the water or the game glitched. I did have a glitch (I think) where it stayed in cinematic mode between the weird signal and finding the troopers by the beacon. So...bug or am I missing something obvious. Love the missions (even if you are mean about difficulty level!)

I'm unsure how this could happen, I have just play tested the Mission now since you mentioned this as i do know some recent updates to SST:TC did break some of the triggers in other missions.

All my units reached experience level 3 - and I did not get the "Lose Condition"

Have you played the mission more than once? I would say maybe give the game a restart?

For some reason the game says I am defeated when the squad of troopers get 3 stars promotion.

Thanks, that narrowed it down sufficiently. I had been there before but I suppose I did not go far enough.

Overall the map is very fun, but the early parts with very limited troops become a bit tedious and repetitive. The small gate that leads to the wide road to the first drop site is especially annoying since it blocks LOS but triggers lots of enemies.

I was hoping for a bonus end upon defeating the final approaching waves or something because do not like the "leave everyone behind to die" endings, especially when you can even watch them die. If the final troopers could actually hold the waves back, that would be great.

You can find Nivium It is before you meet Reece Ryan for the first time. As as you pass the gate its before the cut scene starts.

Any hints on that one? On the search for Pudge I knocked at a lot of doors already. Depending on the interaction with him I may even have met him but forgot about him in this long mission.

I found Lionstein, the forbidden barrel, the bonus tanker, the final Pudge, the hidden engineers at the crane. Is there anything else I missed?

I will take all that into advisement :) - I will be going through all missions soon to give QoL updates and to add or change things people have suggested as-well. :)

But it wont be for a while yet :)


I'll look into the reinforcement doors as-well as i cant be having them trigger when not needed.

Other than that this was a really fun level and some of the best use of triggers and camera angels I have seen in any community content bar none.

I do sort of agree maybe a radio squad would be better here and if you really wanted to limit them but not annoy to the point of march back to the last radio tower then back top where you were then limit the number of drop-ships and their resupply time (if possible). Also for the story-line when you turn on the water and then go back the fire doesn't go out. Maybe the story should say the pump can't pull any water and to capture the radio station to find out why then say the bugs are in the water reservoir stoping the pump from getting water. It appears you need to clear that area before the fire will go out anyway so if that is the case make sure the player knows that.

Completely disagree, making cut scenes is what makes or breaks games. Yes it's unfortunante to a degree that this game way made so that cut scenes are in world and stuff can go wrong. But that's the way the game was made so if you hate it blame the developers of the game not the community content developers who are doing an awesome job using the tools they have to play out the action. My pet peeve was marching back and forth to collect reinforcements from the radio stations, especially some of the reinforcement doors appeared to trigger their one use despite not reinforcing any squad as you walked past and then when you backtracked cause you lost a squad member it had triggered and wouldn't work anymore.

good map, you need to use scout and blocking abilities decisively to win since you are out numbered in close combat, but that is the real type of game playing people want to command.
btw did that officer we recovered from mission 3 made it out? I don't think his squads made it

Damn that was hard, but awesome, took me a few tries to get it done in one session without saving, overall 9.9 out of 10, perfect surprises and difficulty,

you can call new units at third radio station, and search a place to get a combat engineer.

it should be let mission easier.

the cinematics are beautiful. but at around halftime, i got tired of the map. it got too tedious. maybe instead of the one time reinforcements give it, with the second base, a radio operator. also not hard enough for me, but my level of hard isnt for most people :steamhappy: everything else was pretty good. keep doing it.:steamthumbsup:

Man, that was painful. Terribly painful. Everything was beautiful and well triggered, but it was no fun at all. I fought myself to the end, but felt no joy, no katarzis of the victory, just terrible pain. Winning a war without an army, with 3 units - its nonsense. I dont know what was the intention of your game design, but it did not match my playstyle. It was a micromanagement nightmare. Anyway, thx.

I apologise for these issues. These never showed up during all the testing stages of this mission, these have only happened since publishing the map -

I have been made aware that the rocker troopers get stuck preventing the start up working the way it should, Not sure how this happened as this never happened during all the Beta testing - I have since looked into this and made the section in question slightly larger.
