Take your time. Also, remember it doesn't need to be *perfect* the first time and you can adjust things you're uncertain/unhappy with. But yeah, you're doing amazing work and I hope Season 2 news will come soon!

@Bingo? Thanks, I'm taking a break on Meshi stuff for a bit, at least until we get Season 2 news, but the Design doc for Kabru and Falin are like 90% done. Kabru I think is solid, I just don't really like my trinket ideas for him and Falin I've reworked like 8 times because I always feel like the 7th skill isn't good enough. Oddly enough the Shuro, or rather, Shuro's whole party as a single character, hero idea I had is probably the one with doc that's the closest to complete, I just have 3 different ideas for the 7th skill that would all fit, I just need to pick one

@🩸 Нюк 🩸They're the same hero with the same internal id, just with different movesets. They aren't compatible and can cause issues if both are enabled at the same time, as the game will try to enable both movesets at the same time.

I'll have to take back my previous statement some what because I somehow forgot that there already was a Legacy version up, so I'll just update that version instead. When the time comes, make sure you use that version if you want to make sure you keep progress on your current save files since many internal ids will be changing. Rework coming very soon, at least before the year ends. Falin mod is back in never ever status, invest in Kabru coin instead.

I'd like to announce that a rework is currently in progress. Currently, Izutsumi's gameplay is far too similar to the Grave Robber's and could be more exciting and unique then it is now. Once the rework is complete, this version will be converted to a legacy version and the rework will be uploaded separately. If you have any suggestions for the rework, leave a comment or contact me directly through Steam or Discord. The rework is not expected to be finished anytime soon, as I am currently working on two separate enemy mods and debating if I should contract a Mayjack skin for the Half-foot or try to make it myself. And as always, Falin mod never I actually think I might have a good design doc this time, at least for the hero version.

@Lé'O-Fraise Yeah, one of the first discussions I had with Terk was how best to handle that. Keep in mind that this mod was made before the Manga was even finished, so it was still vague how exactly her fur worked and if it would work visually with DDs art style. Eventually, we settled on making it look more skin-like since the added details needed to make it look like fur wouldn't translate well to a sprite and it matched the original art, even if it didn't necessarily match what the art was meant to represent.

Really sad about the fact, the appearance of Izutsumi isn't approximate with how she look in the anime/manga, because where there is human part on the DD skin, it's supposed to be white fur instead. Otherwise, the rest look good.

@SnoopDuck I genuinely think most your dungeon meshi heroes are fairly kept in check by their unique downsides, but could still use some work. The best way to figure out balancing them would be to survey multiple people, but if you wanna hear my thoughts on the rest of the characters, let me know.

As said before the on the prowl/decapitate combo just has way too many really strong damage modifiers and that kind of overshadows a lot of her other skills. It should probably just be 1 damage modifier on each skill (though I do think one being for mark and one being for bleed would make it so you need to put a little bit more effort in to use them). Obviously base DD1 Grave robber has the same problem with lunge/shadow fade, but beastkin already does a bit to overcome that with her two wild card skills and I think she could overcome that even more just by lowering her base damage and then making knifehand/kunai throw do that base damage.

@PoptartHunter68 Yeah, it's a problem that originated from feature creeping to differentiate her from the Grave Robber. I'll tone her combo Dmg down at some point in the future, maybe even her base dmg, is there anything else you'd like me to change while I'm at it?

I'm going to be honest, these dungeon meshi classes are absolutely awesome, but playing through them a bit more I'm starting to notice how some of them are just a little bit OP. Usually this is okay because they're supposed to be hyper-specialized and better at taking on modded enemies, but the beastkin in particular feels a little bit egregious sometimes.

As much as I love being able to trounce on the thing from the stars, the fact that a character with the same base damage as arbalest can get a 285% damage modifier with armor piercing on veteran using on the prowl and decapitate seems just a little bit busted (and that's not even incorporating all her damage and crit modifiers or at level 5). The most grave robber can is 177% and she doesn't get any armor piercing with lunge or bonus accuracy with shadow fade.

I think the problem is pretty easy to fix though. On the prowl and decapitate just need fewer damage modifiers.

Turns out she was unplayable this whole time, Terk colored both of her ear tips white instead of one black, one white. I've fixed this game breaking error, so just ignore the fact that it still exists on the preview images.

@에덴브릿지 Usually that's an issue with the tooltip text formatting, the game can't handle certain symbols. By your name, I'm assuming you're playing with the new Korean translation which might have something to do it, I'll see what I can do.

@szszczepan Conniver's should be using the rarities of the Ringmaster Class mod now, it might be because you don't have that enabled. That riposte issue sounds like I forgot to enable apply only once, easy fix, but I should have caught it much sooner.

Conniver's kunai has a bluestring instead of a rarity, and unremembered warmth has a weird I think unintended interaction with “distract” , namely that it applies the self riposte debuff as many times as the number of enemies you hit. Other then that i like the new changes( the stun gimmick always felt a bit clunky if i'm being honest)

I have been using this mod for quite a while without issue, but today (all of a sudden) I'm also getting the error of "unescaped character in string" in regards to 'kot.party_name_library.json'. I Iooked through the file using notepad++, but on a first glance I couldn't find what's causing it. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Ninja catgirl who is a lost twin sister of OG graverobber and does pretty much the same, sometimes better, sometimes worse. She has some stealth synergy going too. She is both visualy and powerwise in tune with original crew.

@Maal I was going to go with a non-spoiler version as a hero with her gimmick being she's overpowered but her deathblow resist is low and it gets worse as you use her more powerful abilities, with the added drawback of her dealing triple stress on death. Like I said, it's still in the air if I'm actually going forward with the idea.

@Maal I have a massive list of half baked ideas, like adapting the cast of Chrono Trigger and The Lost Vikings, but we're years away from that. Far as the Meshis go, Chilchack is 90% finished, he just need his animations done and his strings completed, Marcille is still on hold but I'm getting help figuring out what's been going wrong, Laius is due for a revamp and art upgrade but I can't say when, the design doc for Senshi is done, and I have a doc of Falin as well, but I don't know if I'll actually commit to adding her.
