Hrm. Perhaps. If this mod is still going in a few months, I'll have some basic/low level looking germanic style daggers/war knives made. I'll send 'em your way :)

@Jargrimr - I would have preferred to mix up Germanic troops with more of an emphasis on clubs, axes and low-quality swords. However, I really hate club units given that most of their animations make no sense for the weapon. Maybe handaxes for the Youths might be a decent halfway measure?

I really like this mod, as these are one of my favourite types of swords. However I have one suggestion for the mod - it replaces the Celtic daggers that the Germanic Youths use, which I don't think works so well. As then there is almost no (visual) difference at all between Germanic Youths and the much better Horse Runners.

@Newwolf - Depending on how extensively DEI's changes to unit appearances are, this may overwrite several of their units just to add the sword. They will both work together though no problem, this is purely visual.

Yeah that's the mod what I mean but the problem is that the game crashes when using those mods together :(

@LahnaKala(FIN) - If you are referring to this uniform colours mod then I can confirm that there is no overlap of files and so no conflict. There must be something else on your end interfering if you aren't seeing the new swords. Not every Germanic unit gets them, only the ones already wielding swords.

@Mr. G. - You shouldn't have anything game-breaking occur. It's a limited reskin for some of the Germanic units, so if Champloo has redone the same units then this will overwrite only those units.

@Michael - Yes, these swords will show all the other sword combat animations. The animations are separate from the weapon models.

Forgot to mention that Sword Masters (at least) should use a mixture of native Germanic and captured Celtic weapons, as a reflection of their status. Will updated description :D

I just checked again and I can see now that at least Sword Brothers use both the Germanic and Celtic swords.

Hmm so the models are there if you can see them on the new ones, but they don't show up on the other units? Do they hold nothing or Celtic swords? Ran a quick test here and had no problems.

Wierd. I didn't see these swords when I tried a custom battle as the Suebi (Berserkers, Sword Brothers).
