Issue on your end, disable other mods and or EUI and clear your cache.

Have no Government overview so I can't select Governments or civic policies

Actually, I don't think any of the specialist bonuses are working as Autocracy civic policy also doesn't grant +1 gold to specialists

Hey subs, sorry for not being around much 😅 Currently the busiest I've ever been in my adult life. Mostly been working on Empires Ascendant when I do have the time and feel like modding, but feeling a bit over modding. Anyone who wants to adapt/edit/improve/add/republish this for their own purposes, to make a VP version for example, feel free, I'm eventually going to add a more polished version (already in the works) to Il Principe.

@White Goodman having something similar, by Culture is snowballing so much in the late game that I have like 1.3million Culture points and can't spend them all on Policies and thus can't progress to the next turn lol

@White Goodman I'm having the same issue, if you turn on policy saving you can get to next turn but idk how to get the civics to work

I have dozens of mods and it's only THIS ONE where I can't see the Government screen, so clearly it must be the problem. Might be good for you to know for future mods/notes/fixes etc.

I am getting stuck at the point when you have to choose a currency, i cant confirm it. there is no button for it. it wont even select the currency i chose.

Oh, then the government trigger text in VP, even though overlaps, still does effects from both this mod and that combined.

@Ripple Effects Did you build the Renaissance world wonder Forbidden Palace? That will change your government to Celestial Dynasty.

I randomly got Celestial Dynasty upon entering the Renaissance, while an AI Inca got Caliphate when entering it...

Another thing: The Policy Chambers building is sorted into the Specialist Building section despite not having any specialist slots. (Am using EUI so not sure if this affects vanilla UI).

@XXXX rules Yeah, quite a few things could be tweaked imo, lots of work that could be done. i'm open to suggestions

@Gfih100 Thanks dude! 1. Already fixed it. 2. Will probably just change to either majority or capital religion. Maybe include State Religions? Super simple mechanic. 3. Will wok on. 4. This is the conflict of files as mentioned. Feel free to fix or don't use EUI.

@limeyndixie Huh, not sure, probably a mod conflict or you have to clear your cache. Need logs for details to really solve.

I’m only a hundred turns in and the buildings bonuses are working (Legal Chambers) but I can’t actually see the Government Overview screen when I click on it.

I'm enjoying this mod. Some things to note:
1 - There is a civil tenet that grants 30 prestige per world wonder built. I don't think prestige exists in this mod/vanilla and seems to be a holdover from the Empires Ascendant. Unless, it gives 30 golden age points (the vanilla counterpart of prestige?) and the text is just wrong.

2 - The Government panel refers to a State Religion? While this was a thing in Empires Ascendant, I don't think you can use it in this stand-alone mod. Might want to just remove it if you can't use it.

3 - The Corpocracy civic policy refers to corporations mechanic from Empires Ascendant that doesn't exist in this stand alone/vanilla. Might want to change that policy.

3 - Using this mod with EUI seems to remove a decent amount of additional information for building and other civs that EUI gives.

Wonderful work you've done here, I really like the amount of depth you're adding to the game. I will say some things appear to be bugged, for example I cant get the colonialism civic policy. and also i just got the separation of church and state civic tenant, and its given me way more science than it probably should, and my faith has gone negative. Thanks for the great work your doing!

From what I observe, it registers the government happiness effects as 'local happiness'.

The happiness mechanics won't work with VP, but everything else should be pretty compatible with most mods, with the exception of anything that alters DiploCorner or InfoTooltipInclude. I don't plan to make a VP-tailored version.

Surprisingly works with VP so far, aside from mismatched policy names required to found monarchy/republic.

I don't have any issues so far with it functionality wise. It does not let you rename your civilization if you so choose from the game menu when starting a game. It reverts it back to the default civilization name. It's perfect other than that so far.
