I know it must be annoying for me to ask every once in a while about this model, but I've got a few questions about the alternate bodygroups. Will the Black Mesa Mk.4 be a bodygroup for the current model, and will the black mesa scientist coat also be made?

At first I install this addon, nothing happens but when I open at the next day, the eyes were turn white and when I try to fix it, it didn't work. (Also I already installed Draconic Base)

You have the Draconic Base installed but either some other addon is overwriting a global with the name of "DRC", which is Draconic's internal code library or some other addon is trying to read everything going on in your game & causing Draconic to break as a result due to its nature of relying on the order its files are loaded in. One thing I know does this is the unsupported "Overwatch" plugin for Gmod Admin Suite.

The scene in HL2 episode 2, where Alyx get's hurt by the hunter, errors generate during the cutscene, and her animations don't play, nor does the hunter appear

I've disabled all of my addons to fix this issue, verified integrity of the game files, nothing works.

I literally make the Draconic Base. There is nothing that targets half life 2 nor it's NPCs in any kind of animation context. Are you sure you weren't just playing them prior to or during the recent gmod updates where Rubat was working on merging episodic animation models?

If you can provide an actual specific example of what was happening that would help a lot.

if this mod ever gets an update it should have a bodygroup for the suit backplate considering it's still there in the half life alyx model

@Speed I believe someone else already copied over my item suit replacer to gamebanana, as far as the viewmodel goes that would require a decent amount more work as hl2 does not have a c_arm system

@trojanhorse20 it provides me with better visual effects and material parameters, so...

Also, the "lack" of a port on the back could have been the presence of a plate covering the back port as you can see the outline of it on the back of the default suit model. You wouldn't want something that's so essential to charging the suit and possibly it's shield to be exposed to the elements 24/7.

If you ever go back to update this addon, I feel some good changes would be:

1. Adding some color palette options that correspond to some of the HEV Suit's palettes over its various depictions, like the more balanced orange of the suit as seen in HL2 Survivor suit and the much deeper orange with much darker parts found on the viewmodels in the HL2 Beta along with a colorable option with choices of light or dark grey non-colored parts.

2. Being able to toggle some of the parts of the HEV Suit to the player's liking, like giving it all-grey gloves or Purplish gloves like the HL2 beta with a toggleable grey back with possible chestplate pieces inspired by HL2 Beta concept art.

I was also thinking about arm options including Grey, non-colored arms as well to reference the mistake in the default model for the suit in HL2 along with options to remove the "prong" and possibly even the thick bar it's on as well in reference to this concept art.

Do you take any suggestions for further improvements? Recently somebody made some nice high-poly HEV hands, and I think it would be cool if you were to reskin them to match your specific model.

It's just using the base npc animations, so it should work with whatever replacer you want

What I meant by "other base", is like other player model selector bases. One example would be "Enhanced PlayerModel Selector", which is similar to the Draconic base. Still, it is more default PM selector-friendly in terms of visuals and can easily be used in all game modes.

Just to be clear, this mod is perfection, it's just that not everyone in the workshop may like the Draconic base. I have nothing against that mod, I just prefer the Enhanced PlayerModel Selector mod.

as stated in the description, this model utilizes Draconic's extra rendering features via material proxies, I'm not sure what "other base" you're referring to as I don't know of any that even offer what Draconic does in this regard.

@Saul Goodman I agree, this mod is great and my only gripe with this is that it requires the Draconic Base. It shouldn't have to be necessary when you prefer another base instead.
