Hey this looks great, however how can I get the starting finances not be infinite? That takes a lot of the fun out of it for me. Perhaps I'm missing something simple.
On the Main Screen >
Select Load Game > then select Long Haul
In the Enabled Mods section that is shown on screen
Click on Select Options (on RHS) to open the list and then turn off Sandbox Mode. Click Apply.
You're then you're returned to the previous screen and click Start and you're set to play the game without Sandbox enabled
In my current map I have my line running down the LHS of the mountain from the ore mines down to the riverside town as it weaves its way down, with no tunnels on the snowline, but it does go through a tunnel near the town by the river due to the gradient there. It took a couple of goes, and by laying track from both ends (to meet in the middle) I got it done. Did the same for the coal line as well. Added a hub, for that end of the map near the town (coal side of the map)
I decided to start from the industrial end of the map this time and will work my way through the mountain range, hopefully with no tunnels, to get to the town-side of the map and and also I'll use some new bridge mods I want to try out for this map I'll add a few pics when the line is completed.

I hope you can make a 2000 version map
So then you wouldn't have to use the Testing Branch to run this map
No doubt there's someone who will correct me if I'm wrong.
