edit the defines txt in common/defines. Search for stewardship. Change the "99" to the number you like (vanilla is 6)

Would it be possible to have a game rule to turn stewardship changing domain limit back on? I play with the After the End mod, which has City-State governments, and one of the selling points of it is if you have really really high stewardship you can hold 2 counties, but this mod cuts that ability out. If its not possible to have it as a game rule, is there a file in the mod I could edit to have my current save game have dynamic domain limits back?

What does OPB mean?

I feel like you should merge some of these fantastic ideas into your current mod, but once again perhaps have it so you can enable/disable. I do not want to choose between these tweaks and your excellent event mod. I like what you have above there - the dread I am not sure why stress creates some but the vanilla game also seems to penalize me for not cheating in tournaments if I am ambitious and that's silly. You can be ambitious but honest, so maybe some of these traits etc. are open to interpretation

Doesn't make sense to me when my neighbouring ruler is outside of the range. That there are some rulers who are a few countries away I can't interact with, but I can interact with rulers farther away. Or when my courtiers can marry characters I cannot interact with.

- Reworked Diplomatic Range, very short for counts and normal for emperors. Nordics and Nomads have their own buffs!

There's an issue with the mod in term of radius of character interaction.
With activating only attributes/ethos matters as mod, I found several instances where some nearby rulers gave the message "too far away to interact with" when rulers even farther away could be interacted with. I made sure that they were located in their county. This is at the beginning of the game.
When I made a new game without the mod, I could interact with rulers much farther away than with the mod.
This instance where characters can't be interacted with is even more prominent with the more game rules - shattered realm rule to make every ruler have only one county, creating many more rulers around you. It basically makes the game unplayable since even some neighbours can't be interacted with due to being "too far away".

I played mainly as Finland in 1066 and tried to interact with northern rulers and their wifes.
Chief Aimo of Rounala systematically couldn't be interacted with when using the mod. And could be interacted with when not using the mod.

@Nero yes the modifiers were wrong. The right ones are the "hostile" ones. Its now fixed! Thanks for noticing.

@teelicht base range raised to 1000, from 800 (1000 is the vanilla value) So emperrors now will have full, untouched, diplomatic range.

I like the mod alot. But intrigue has a small bug. It says it increases Scheme Success Chance and Scheme Discovery Chance. But it does nothing in game. Checkable by trying to murder. It isnt listet under the modifiers. I even think thats a bug in the base game. I think it should say Hostile Scheme Succes Chance. These modifiers work. Then diplomacy is for the "nice" Schemes and Intrigue for the "hostile" ones.

I think the diplo range nerves are too significant. As the Emperor of Britannia I could not interact with somebody from south Spain.

Alright. I'm going to steal a bit here for UCS, as there is a couple of overwriting files with education and albino traits, also some overlap in the defines that I need to cut out, but otherwise I like the other balance changes, so I'll make a compatch.

These are features i removed for compatibility reasons with other mods. These changes are still functional if you unzip :)
