does this have a mechanic to prevent or slow down west africans and or somolians from converting too early?

Firstly, fantastic mod! Secondly, would you be able to confirm if it still works with the latest version of the game? Thank you very much!

Didn't actually require an update, I literally just changed a number

Update: Disabled a vanilla script which runs after 950 CE and practically forces unreformed pagans to convert.

Do I have to use Game Rule Gadget for this to work?

Update: Spouses in polygamous marriages are only considered close relations if they're either a primary spouse or if the religion of the convert is pluralist. (Had to make this change since my fundamentalist & polygamous Prussian neighbour decided to convert within one year of marrying a random Catholic Vlach artisan, despite already having three other wives of the same [pagan] faith).

TheDentedEar As per the new update, you can now configure restrictions how you want and realm counties is one of those things you can configure.

I've been waiting for a mod like this! Conversion of pagans, particularly in West Africa always feels a bit weird and ahistorical in long games. One small (possibly optional) change that I'd like to see is also being able to convert to the faith of a county you hold, so conquerors can fully integrate into their conquered peoples
