I have translated your mod into German (AI assisted) and added the localization to my translation mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3355568022

Of course, you can extract the files and add them to your own mod, or include a link to the mod in your description — or do neither. As you wish!

@Rylock I appreciate the response!

@ᚬᛏᛁᚾ I doubt it, as they pretty much do opposite things - and Witchcraft has its own version of witch trials - but, in terms of direct conflict I don't think there's much.
Rylock  [author] 4 May @ 6:31pm
@hamletsdead This mod is centered around providing tools for limiting/eliminating witchcraft... so, no, no plans for expanding the content for actually being a witch.
ᚬᛏᛁᚾ 30 Apr @ 10:04am
Is this compatible with witchcraft?
hamletsdead 30 Apr @ 10:03am
Cool idea, thanks for the mod and kudos for the work. Any plans to add content for when you are actually playing as a witch and coven master? E.g., events where have to avoid close scrutiny if your realm religion hates witches or where you bluster and deny your involvement or intimidate the accusers. Sort of like the royal court scene where you get accused of being a demon, which I always love to embrace while playing as a demon.

New version is up.

@macluk I wasn't going to remove the GUI change, as I needed that to include the icons which allowed you to put a witch prisoner on trial or to confront them, but it changed enough in the new patch that I thought it best to remove it anyhow. Those things can still be accessed from the character interaction menu.

Can we safely remove the giu for courtier list? i think it's conflicting with other mods so it would be useful to get rid of it, unless you could add a screenshot of what it changes.

@Rylock
Dear author, there is a program ModTranslationHelper on GitHub. With its help, you can automatically create localization files for your mod from your native language to other languages supported by the game in a couple of clicks. Perhaps you will find this useful. The idea of the mod is cool.

@Rylock

Ty for the response,

regards.
Rylock  [author] 4 Mar, 2024 @ 4:26pm
@Lurumagno No. The only way to not replace that GUI file would be to get rid of the ability to use the prisoner GUI to confront witches or put them on trial. And I'm not willing to do that.

As for the events, the only way to change an event currently is to replace the entire file - even if there's only one thing you need to change in it. And I need to replace the events if the witch frequency game rule is to have any effect.

Hence why this mod is kept very separate from the rest of the ones I've made.

This mod is excellent! But there's a little problem....

Is there any possibility of increasing compatibility with other mods?

This replaces important files, especially the "vanilla GUI file".

Regards.

@arthurmastelarovb I say it's overwritten so that people know it'll potentially conflict with other mods that also overwrite that character interaction. It still exists, and is still what you would use to convert people to witchcraft. The conditions for its use haven't changed, unless you've chose a more restrictive game rule.
arthurmastelarovb 2 Feb, 2024 @ 1:46pm
if the scheme convert to witchcraft is overrriten, how do i convert people, like i have an ruler and i wanna convert an heir/familly/any ramdo, how do i do it?

@Lemonz I'm well aware. It's not really the "traditional" witch trial anyhow but, regardless, there's not much that's historically accurate about the current vanilla implementation of witches, however, so this mod at least offers the ability to address it when it's spread within your realm. If one wanted to be 100% historically accurate, you'd just take the game rule to remove witches completely.
Lemonz 29 Oct, 2023 @ 2:49am
While this is cool it's not very historically accurate for the time period. The Catholic Church suppressed witch trials and they didn't become popular in Europe until after the Protestant Reformation.
Irish_Raven 6 Aug, 2023 @ 11:40am
thanks for this, i use to just delete the witchtrait from the game but thats not possible anymore since the update without breaking my game for some reason
alegdansk 22 Jul, 2023 @ 6:28am
Please can you create more "trials mods" thank you very much 😉
Rylock  [author] 22 Jul, 2023 @ 12:52am
@Adon Kohelet It's not a bad idea, but I've no intention of doing that myself, sorry.
Adon Kohelet 21 Jul, 2023 @ 7:31pm
I know this might be a tall order but would it be possible to do this for all crimes? I would love to have an actual judicial system in this game for extra realism. Honestly the more generic and mod compatible it is the absolute better it would be.
Rylock  [author] 21 Jul, 2023 @ 7:44am
@irish08slasher It does indeed, yes, assuming you don't have the Witches game rule set to "None".
irish08slasher 21 Jul, 2023 @ 7:10am
Does the AI use this?
