@insty03 No the AI can't see through them if they are not allied to you or are near you but for interacting without distant nations, their is actually already a game rule for the diplomatic range you can tweak before creating a new game. I set mine to restricted every game.

for the fog of ware clouds in to-do, do you know if the AI will still be able to see through them? is your thought to prevent the player from even clicking/interacting outside the diplo range? I would love that, it always seemed a little weird that I can see the current state of the world in africa or india from iceland.
