Why can't I do any damage to some enemies but do damage to others???

Great mod! But it makes exploring some arctic planets very troublesome, whenever there's a blizzard it constantly freeze me and every npcs. The frozen effect should be toned down.

Think i found a bug with this. I was trying out the doom cannon item from the base game and kept wondering why the doomed status effect wasn't working properly. (wasn't hearing the noise or damage number trigger) After removing this mod it seems that the problem was fixed?

I feel like Electric is a bit underwhelming compared to the other 3. I can see the new effects of Fire, Toxic, and Ice. But I can't tell if Electric still arcs as there doesn't seem to be any visual ques. Also the damage numbers don't spike with more than one enemy. Fire seems to work fine when used against me, but if I am rapidly applying Fire damage to an enemy it doesn't seem to stack.

Overall I love the mod. Do the mods that add elements get unique effects for the new elements, or do they tend to follow the adjustments to the original four?

Game crashes after attacking enemy few times with fire weapon, error says "something something exception for damage type physical"

it seems like after enemies break out of being frozen, they become immune to all my weapons and I can't kill them. Ice also seems pretty overpowered, at least with beam cannons which are from a different mod so I guess it wouldn't be balanced around that, but it still feels like it might be too strong if it wasn't for it making enemies immortal.

@bidiguilo: Some data helps establish a baseline for damage on monsters, but it will use some default values that work well.

the poison slowing is not needed imo if anything cold effects should slow not poison.

Fire damage seems to make monsters AND players immune to damage for some reason? We are using the Wildfire mod so I think that may be affecting it.

Too bad no one would probably be able to do something like this with the FU elements, Shadow, Cosmic, and Radiation. mainly because they are precoded with FU and have complex stuff already well endowed. but this is nice to see that people still care about such things

i dont remember if i asked you this but about the freezing debuff does this happen all the time or is their a diminishing return ....and this only effects non bosses right?

Not exactly, the immunity was caused because the "physical.damage" file was missing, but something dealt that specific damage type, giving an error.

@Lflame: Yes, that works.
So, somehow the "physical" damage is missing from your game, but a weapon deals it.
This mod can fix it:

Couldn't say why this happened, some specific mix of mods that may have a missing dependency, but it's a guess.

I did found out that bleed damage depends on dealt damage, so it may not need a change, but I'll add the "weaken" effect to this mod, to consider it as a "bleed" element when applied.

@FelmastProMcLane Alright i done some asking since i'm good friends with the Dev of Rpg Growth. It seems the Damage that bleed is doing is coming from

/scripts/ivrpgstatboosts.lua (line 30)

but theirs another which is /scripts/ivrpgMonsterNpcHook.lua

but that one seems just checks and Damage requests so the other one is likely the one your looking for.

@dc: Mods that have their own damage types/effects are not affected by this mod.
This only directly affects statuses included within this mod, anything else should be unchanged.

Elithian Races has a neato little weapon that can switch between all the elements present in this mod on the fly, and it makes everything suffer.

It seems to only reduce some elemental resistances, but there is no bleed damage application there.

This doesn't touch RPG Growth as of yet. Because most of it's effects are % damage resistances so they don't actually need changing... and I haven't found where the "bleed" code is.
