@Witch King I managed to fix it. In the mod description it says to load EK Utilities above BaroTraumatic (BT). That did not fix it, however loading EK Utilities above ALL OTHER MODS from the main menu DOES seem to fix it. The issue stems from EK Dockyard and EK Utilities causing the "Allow in-game editing" option to enable on all controllers on a sub for each object. Load EK Utilities first and EK Dockyard Remastered second. Everything else can be loaded after those two. I have confirmed this fix with another user's computer and in both mission and campaign mode.

I have also just confirmed the periscope input box vanishes when turning off EK Dockyard Remastered. Is there a specific order these should be loaded in?

@Lucifinel Actually our issue is a bit different. During normal gameplay while trying to use a turret, a window is stuck on screen in the bottom right that says "Periscope: Output" with a text box that just says "1" that can be changed. The box will not go away and blocks any attempt to aim and fire towards the bottom right of the screen.

If you're referring to the periscope UI button I previously removed, the changes to the periscope will be split into this separate mod:

What about the "periscope output" on screen during combat issue? It is a massive problem for any form of gunnery.

Well, after the Update is the Periscope Usage Example broken. You can´t switch the guns anyymore. The move_output (DMX Modul) got disconected from the Periscope. Same for the Relais.

@MoonShi Connect these two terminals to their corresponding machines, then enable 'Display Side by Side When Linked' on the machines.
You can think of these terminals like steel cabinets without their own UI — once connected, they’ll just show the UI of the linked machines.

discovered that the lights on the navigation terminal panels (communicators/console) are much higher than the terminal sprite itself.

Any fix for the periscope window? Users are going through the extra trouble of disabling it on their end or removing the EK mod. That ain't right.

You can remove the box in the sub editor and untick "Allow in-game editing" from the Controller-tab. Took some time to figure out.

Yes @Lucifinel. I'm having the same issue. Whenever you interact with a periscope, it opens up a box to the right where you can change an output value.

I've been able to replicate it very easily by having nothing but this mod and any modded sub, starting a new game with the modded sub and then interacting with any periscope. This must be a new sub, purchased with this mod active and this issue will persist with that sub even after this mod is unloaded as the alteration to the periscope is now permanently baked in to the sub that is in the player's save game due to how subs the player has purchased are stored.

No, it's a window that opens whenever I interact with the periscope in any way. It is especially inconvenient when it shows up on the lower weapons platform since most hostile targets appear at the bottom right, exactly where this settings window shows up. The window is titled "Periscope" and has a single option that can be altered titled "output" that comes default to 1. This is not a screwdriver required interaction window for wiring, although it also appears while the wiring window is present. I've not tested this in depth but I would imagine it also appears on the repair window.

@TortuousAugur Are you talking about the two buttons on the periscope? This is a solution to control external devices from the periscope (EX: switch turrets, start discharge coils through buttons). You can refer to the buttons of the navigation terminal. You need to connect wires to the two newly added ports to use it. If there is no connection, it will have the same function as the original periscope.

I've come across an issue added from this mod where a periscope settings window opens up with an option to configure an output setting whenever the periscope is used on any non-vanilla sub. I'm not even sure what this setting is used for as I can't seem to bring it up on a vanilla sub at all or on any modded sub outside of having this mod enabled.

@AprendizZK If you are referring to those placeable machines, you need to aim at the spot first and then press the 'Use' key. The default 'Use' key is E. Simply aiming and left-clicking will not place them.

@AprendizZK Can't place the diving suit locker and other objects? Could you elaborate? I haven't seen this issue before. In the submarine editor, you should be able to place them without any problems.

Are you sure you're not referring to the placeable items from EK Utilities Remastered?

Im playing with other mods but, fars i can tell it should not cause problems. The only big mod that i have is the Dynamic Europa and europa waifu.

@Lucifinel 在多人遊戲中當啟用垂直推進器的時候,所有人(包括主機)都會出現無限回彈的BUG,而AI似乎不受影響,並且與ping值無關。 關掉推進器后又恢復正常

@iamyou The automatic operation is not a complicated mechanism, it just adds a wiring port. If there is a problem with this, first check whether you have a wrong connection (turning off the aim delay may help). If you are sure that there is no wrong connection, then it is an official problem.

sometimes bots or auto operate does not fire, it just track the monsters movement but does not fire, happed on chaingun, medium ssl, and laser

Please maybe you can make EK Dockyard with craftables things ? Like with diesel generator crafts, some navigation devices and etc, it will be very cool to have ability to craft all of this in game :captainsmooth:

You know that the mechanical equipment in this MOD is originally designed for the Submarine Editor, right? This equipment is used to facilitate submarine building, and you need to use it in the Submarine Editor. If you have never built a submarine, I recommend you give it a try, as building submarines is one of the great pleasures of this game.
