@Monkey This is the answer I expected. If it would be easy, likely someone else would have done it. Thank you for your detailed answer. Keep up the good work

@Nicoman - short answer - that would probably require a ton of work, yes.

Long answer? That would probably require an absolute F-ton of work, and the need for assemblies as currently the mod uses vanilla systems for it's filters, and a whole new system would be needed to filter out the specific materials.

Added to that, iunno C# - when the assemblies break, I need to get help from elsewhere to fix them. Making a whole new system is a huge ask, and I could never impose on the nice people who help fix broken assemblies with that.

Ultimately, I'm not the original author of Reclaim Fabric I'm only maintaining it with Reclaim Fabric- Resumed :P

I love this mod. A must have for me for my gameplay.
One question: Would it be hard to make another filter regarding a certain kind of fabric? For example: Reclaim only stuff from hyperweave clothes.

Tosses a red letter if a pawn somehow manages to spawn zero material (Ex: devilstrand and steel should come out of a composite plate, the fabricor with a crafting of 10 only manages a couple strips of devilstrand, and zero steel, making it throw a red error that I think otherwise is doing nothing)
it might just be a fabricor thing specifically as I've had them tweak out with other mods like repairable gear but I figure to at least let it be known

@Stubkan - I have just tested the mod on 1.5 with just this mod running. Spawned a bunch of pants, and set them to be reclaimed. 10 mats was reclaimed each time by a pawn with a skill of 3. Generally about 10% of whatever remains of the item's health. Appears to be working fine.

More likely than not, another mod is causing a conflict. Try it yourself. Disable all mobs barring this one, and you'll probably get the same results as I. Enabled your other mods one by one, choosing those which are most likely to affect this one first to make things easier.

@Monkey Magic, Kurt may not be wrong. There is a bug going around for 1.5 for many reclaim type jobs - similar mods such as crusty textiles have this same issue (I am too, using this mod - not getting any fabric at all back from reclaiming 80-90% condition cloths with a 8 skill crafter)

The post was for a bug report. Steam doesn't seem to like the link.

@Plutocron. Dunno what link you tried to post, but steam is award with those. You are right there is an issue with mechs, I'll look into this when I have more time

@Old Kurt - Mod works fine.

Please be aware than the amount of material one gets back is based on the skill level of the pawn, and the state of the item being reclaimed. Generally, a pawn with 6 skill in Crafting will obtain 25 material back from a 80 cost item in perfect condition.

Chances are you noticed a pawn reclaim an item in such poor condition they did not have skill enough to get anything back from it. Either that, or some other mod is causing an issue - try reordering your mods

Doesn't work (probably since previous game update by Oct.9) - fabrics doesn't spawn after completing job.
Dyspeptic Icarus 8 Oct, 2024 @ 6:49pm
Apparently Fabicor Mechs cause it to bug out, and not finish the job.
