indeed, it would be awsome. my goal with my industry mod was originally to do that but i didnt structure my code very well and it just got too difficult to work with. might eventually revisit it, idk though

It would be incredibly cool to one day see a mod like your Industry mod interacting with both Wiremod and Nium's Electricity (or a similar mod) to be in a mod list that turns Gmod sandbox into Factorio (or like modded Minecraft) without being its own separate gamemode, lol!

this is one; it has a conveyor in it thats functionally indentical to the old version of this mod

theres also this one with a couple of it's own styles of conveyors, but it hasnt been updated by me in a while and the code was admittedly borrowed from the other one anyway

that all said, it accurs to me that this mod used to have the ability to change any prop into a conveyor, which these lack- so maybe i was wrong to say others do it "better."
with that in mind i might port the old mod's conveyors functionality as a seperate addon. no promises though.

If you don't mind me asking, what "other mods" can do conveyors "better" then if conveyor functionality is removed?

check the "hookup mover" (or whatever the box is labeled as), then the next chainlift point you spawn with it will be able to hook-up movers to it and will turn green. then spawn a mover and weld the mover to whatever you'd like, and the mover will start moving along the chainlift path when it touches the green chainlift point.
