when making mods, i assume that people have already completed the base game and dlc without other mods; i believe that using mods on the first playthrough is just wrong
but i do agree with you; the only reason i made this mod is because of how much i love CL and how much i would enjoy exploring it even outside saint's campaign

seen this in the mod list a couple of times. personally I think this ruins saint by lessening the impact CL leaves which also lessens saints campaign as a whole as CL was the highlight for me and maybe other people idk

i also would prefer original 5p's dialogue, but i dont know how dialogue works. i assume it is assigned to the room with some external code, which i definitely dont want to touch

none of the dialogue in the mod updates. it uses moon's rivulet dialogue and pebbles's saint dialogue

referering to the threat music thing: i removed the moon noise and adjusted the layers a bit. the threat theme seems to work fine in silent construct? idk, anyway i am planning on releasing an update that should fix this and few other issues. (the update that was released today was a test update and didnt change anything btw)

i would say that the issue might be all the rooms having their threat music volume set to 0, but that's definitely not the case because the silent construct one from extra threat themes still plays in here perfectly fine

update on my comment about the threat music: nvm you are actually able to reference threat layers from outside the folder, idk what the issue was.
regardless i'd suggest removing the vents layer (cause it's just gonna cause audio clipping and desync due to it being an entirely different tempo and duration from the UD ones) and setting it to only play in the husk and main silent construct in case it starts working again.

uhhhhh when i try to enter via Industrial Complex, the game freezes mid-load

whenever i warp there, the game shows an error the first time, after the second time, it loads me in, and then it freezes. I just want to play the mod, i was so hyped for it, kshdkagsdkjahsksajhldkdshfksd

found another issue after digging through the files (and learning more about how threat music works): the threat music in this mod doesn't work. i can see in the files that this region is supposed to have the unfortunate development threat theme, with the addition of one of the layers from the vents one.
this does not work, as a threat theme text file cannot reference audio files outside of the folder it's in. you'll need to download those music files and package them alongside the mod for the threat theme to work.

idea for when you can finally get back to working on this: more parts of pebbles's structure are intact here than in silent construct, particularly his puppet chamber and the rooms around it. they're covered in extra rot though to explain why they collapse further.

why does it rename shoreline to soreline? and also why does it turn the underhang rooms in shoreline into a subregion called precipice'd?

found another issue: the mod is incompatible with expeditions. the expedition mode will still think the rot and the exterior regions exist so it will give you challenges involving those regions which softlocks you.

i think there should be more shelters in the region due to rivulet's shorter cycles, silent construct's shelters are kinda sparse.
also renaming the region to salient construct is really cool but "the dusk" subregion just sounds dumb imo. not a big deal i guess but i think it should be changed back to the husk.

another issue that isn't listed in the description: the region doesn't change at all when you take out the rarefaction cell. all the gravity stuff is supposed to turn off when you do.

Ok, an update on my last message, I kinda doubt it would be that easy to do, but it would be cool if you could make the power actually turn off when you remove the rarefaction cell, like it does in rivulet's campaign.

Really cool region, I really like it, and I got really lucky and had a fun experience of scaling an exterior portion of the structure during a precycle, my only complaint is that I feel you should give pebbles unique dialogue, or if nothing else re-use his rivulet dialogue, instead of him having saint dialogue.

you may use this mod for other mods(and if you do please give credit) but it is made in a pretty bad way which might break a bunch of other mods

For those who said this removes the difficulty, maybe instead play the mod before hand rather than instantly assuming
I will say the use of Silent Construct as a base for this is very clever, tho hopefully you may in the future be able to get some custom dialogue in for Pebbles considering he still has all his neuronflies!
also as a name instead of Salient Construct, perhaps use Deteriorating Construct for the main part of the region!
