nothing about your instructions are better, you both have the same flaw of assuming the game is installed onto the C drive and in program files

BETTER INSTRUCTIONS:

open file explorer - go to this pc - (C) drive - program files (x86) - steam - steamapps - workshop - content - 108600 - 3017121049 - mods - fix map download - zombie - iso - now the only file in there named worldstreamer.class you need to right click on it click copy. Now you need to go back by clicking the back button within the file explorer window at the top left until you get to This PC (C) - program files (x86) - steam - steamapps and now you need to click on common then project zomboid - zombie - iso - then scroll down and at the very bottom is a file named the same thing (WorldStreamer.class) right click on it and click paste. then just close and reopen PZ and your good to go.

does this make to be installed on the server side or on the client PC, I'm running my own server at home and i'm in the UK everyone within the uk who try jumping on has be able to get on but last night i have someone from the USA try to get on and wouldn't let him on due to the map download error

brilliant mod has solved me getting onto my favourite serve as it normally times out due to my poor connection at work, the only issue I've had so far is sometimes when I join a server it will now say chat is disabled, i can fix this by dropping and re-logging,

Your mod not only it didn't fix the issue, it also corrupted my game and it won't launch anymore.

I used to fail at Error 1 on downloading map chunks every time I entered a multiplayer game with a friend.
Thanks to this mod, it has been fixed since I installed it!

Spiffo's 60s timeout limit is designed to protect players from internet redirecting... Any connection more than 60s, theoretically and geographically, is abnormal and I did verify my route is hijacked by hackers/service providers to collect personal info. My family members told me they had kind of this login issue while playing in multiplayer servers. But trust me don't break 60s limit, it's good for your personal info and credit card info saved on your PC! Consulting internet expert instead of downloading this mod. I install and find I spend more than 10 mins to login and I find my info is totally collected by one internet node provider and its private local nets.

The harm of that node is reported and verified by Microsoft Web Defender.
Using VPN to change ur route to avoid those internet route bandits instead of breaking the 60s limit.

I cant find this mod in my downloads to do what the instructions say.... I'm so confused.

I just helped someone find this mod today, and it worked "like a charm" for them, so I wanted to throw a comment out to the masses that this does seem to work if you copy the correct files to the correct place. Great job, P_menta. (I also found your old post where you initially ran into this problem and no one could help you solve it; good on you for finding a solution and making that solution a mod.)

i already copy the mod file A.K.A. "ZOMBIE" to game file. but it not works.

I think this might be caused by bad MTU. My decompiled PZ only has 3 lines related to MTU, none of which is related to finding and setting correct MTU. Adding codes to assign proper MTU is beyond me.

go to ur steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 108600 > 3017121049 > mods > fix map download > zombie. copy the "zombie" file

then paste the zombie file to.

steam > steamapps > common > ProjectZomboid.
