It's two subgrids, with 2 blocks each, that should give zero jank.

I've looked into that sort of thing. It's just too jank and IMDC ships have never done janky things.

You could attach small grid gatling guns on rotors, even if it means you can't entirely print the ship in survival it would take literally 1 minute to add to the otherwise completed ship.

With so few turret mounts on the ship, and with how the ugly old Gatling turrets would stick out like a sore thumb due to this and their mounting positions, I opted to go entirely assault cannon. They're superior to Gatlings in an anti-fighter role, even if they're somewhat less capable of dealing with jetpacking engineeers. Swap out the rear two assault cannon turrets along the sides for Gatling if you want that feature. That's how I had it originally before changing it. Keen REALLY needs to give us either better Gatling turrets or large-grid autocannon turrets (preferably the latter). These old turrets just look absolutely terrible alongside the new stuff.

Could use some gatling turrets, 1 on each of the top of the thruster nacelles. It's very simple but would give the ship much more versatility.

Repaired the Ascent Cruise Control script. Not my original script (BlargMode made it) but I managed to figure out what was causing it to fail and repair it.

I just updated it one more time. Rerouted the conveyors in the front compartment to under the floor along the sides. That's an easy conversion you can do if you've already built it, though. You don't have to do anything fancy, just a straight run of reinforced conveyors and it will work. Then you can remove the reinforced conveyor on the top of the hull to restore the outer hull to how it originally looked. You get better looks and a more robust system all in one.

Will take a gander. We have a bunch of new refineries that are coming online for next session, we got caught in that awkward moment of we were moving our refining from our initial placement to a new spot in our asteroid base. Along with Plat not refining in large amounts leading to part of the bottleneck as we try to push it past.

Try my old Pioneer-class Mothership or its smaller brother the Sturgeon Class if you need mass refining capabilities. They're nowhere near as nice as this, and both are in need of an update, but they'll do the job.

I think we will have to just rip out the beds and medical to get it reprojected with the updated. We had those parts built already and are working on the engines and jump drive. Sort of a resource bottleneck of trying to process all of our ores

We currently have this being built in our server. Excited to take it out for a spin. Currently going to have this with two crew then two fighters if we do combat scenerios
