@CombatMedic02 I will give it a try on my next campaign. I always reset everything between campaigns. I am pretty active about testing mods. In this campaign I am using a couple recent releases by ReshiKillim, The Hive, and Spectrum Enemies and Aegis Division. I play Covert Infiltration with "mainly" Proficiency Classes. I am very fond of Iridar's Akimbo Class. I am also using Lord Abizi's Battlefield Training mod to get officers. I am using about 150 mods in total.

Well at least you managed to fix that. Perhaps it may have fixed the mod not updating too? As nice said, you should try deleting it from your workshop folder manually to force it to download the new version. You may need to try it on a new save too as the update won't remove the duplicates from your previous save. I know the bug has been fixed though because I tested it extensively myself.

@CombatMedic02 I was able to repair Steam via command line, which restored the ability to do screen shots. I took one and verified that one was actually taken.

Check the game's mod folder instead, sometime unsubbing on workshop doesn't delete the mod itself in the game's "real" mod folder.

Like I said, I think you're just not getting the latest update for the mod which is what is causing your issue. Something is definitely wrong with your Steam installation. Not being able to take screenshots has to mean something is corrupt. Whether it be with Steam or your OS.

@CombatMedic02 I really doubt that it was an issue with my PC. I run sfc /scannow often and after any kind of crash; it found no errors at all. Also no other programs have had any issues. This mod as far as the game goes works but the item displays repeatedly in the menu for selecting equipment for soldiers.

Yeah, should be fine with just about any mod since it just adds a new weapon/SPARK BIT. It doesn't change or override anything.

Then it might be time for more drastic measures, if you can't save/share steam screenshots I imagine there's a lot more wrong with your computer then just this mod not working. Might be time to reinstall your OS. If you're on Windows you can do it easily by typing reset my PC into the start menu. Back up any personal stuff you want to keep before doing it though.

Perhaps you should try validating your game files, sounds like something is corrupted.

Sorry silverleaf, that doesn't seem to be working either. The website just seems to be timing out. Perhaps you should try unsubscribing from the mod, check that it has been removed from your Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500 folder then resubscribe to it. It sounds like you are still running an old version of the mod from before I patched out a bug.

@CombatMedic02 For some reason I can't take screenshots in Steam. I tried several fixes posted on the internet to no avail. I can't get into imgur since I do not have a phone number to verify. I have tried zipping the file to see if that will make a difference.

I think it's something to do with that hosting site. Like I said, try imgur, it's what I tend to use, or just make the screenshot public directly from steam.

Thanks for all the ratings and downloads, it really means a lot to me since I didn't think this mod would be very popular. I pushed an update today which fixes the Hack Bonus stat on the armoury UI screen. Figured I'd take another look at it on my day off and I managed to figure out how to get it working. :)

If you are just looking to have a ADVENT Mec on your team there are cosmetics to make a SPARK look exactly like one. I even made a couple of them.

Maybe even be able to add Haywire Spark Unit as an customizable ally to the vanilla roster by retrieving it's data via surgery and then seeking out haywires for recruiting them via the proving grounds.

Playable Aliens was once upon a time non-LW compatible but has now been updated accordingly. I could see you and Kriden partnering to further expand on it. We could finally bring WOTC Locked content, into the vanilla game.

There is actually a script that allows you to recruit aliens in the vanilla game via the Surgery tree followed by the research tree (Need a proving grounds to produce alien units).

It is now LW compatible but I think if you could remaster this you could make it so SPARK units could be customized.
Maybe give spark units machine gun shoulders that have infinite ammo and tear down cover and structures in place of their shoulder rockets.
Add an ability for them to be able to jump onto high roofs with an gear augment to their feet that makes them jump vast and high distances. (Part 1)

Thanks! I might do some more XCOM 2 modding in the future but I have nothing planned at the moment. Who knows when inspiration will next strike though and what form it will take. I do love XCOM 2, it's one of my most favourite games and a game that I will always come back to eventually so I guess we'll see. :)

Thank you for the kind words. I know this mod probably won't appeal to everyone but it was something I wanted to make for myself anyway so I figured I'd share it here in case anyone else wanted the same functionality. I like choices and this mod enables that. It's nice to have another hacking option if your best specialist is out tired for instance. I started a new campaign with it and I feel like it's in a pretty good place balance wise.

It's just a straight buff, I guess the trade off is kind of the bad starting hack stats that you need to train up for it to be more usable.

Interesting - though I'm curious, is there any tradeoff for equipping the Haywire Bit, or is it purely a buff?
