@Agenttech4774 Yikes owns many self-made items, including 2023, 2022, and 2019 cases. these items include the goofy, out-of-style hats that you criticize. he actively profits off of the items, and Valve seems to favor him. so he has no reason to follow the art style as he knows that his submission has a higher chance regardless of quality.

What Yikes doesn't understand is that we are tired of cosmetics that are haha funny silly goofy wacky random object on mercenary's head that don't fit the personality of the specific mercenary and or doesn't fit the art style at all or doesn't make sense to wear because it is not an actual piece of clothing or something else that still makes sense to wear like the Half Life med kit reference we got in the summer 2023 cosmetic case for Medic. While some say TF2 is a goofy game that part comes from the players actions. The art style however is and looks serious which is why the cosmetics we got before Summer 2022 and afterwards (mostly) look out of place because they do not fit the art style based on the concept/idea and cannot match with anything else in game. Did you not know/hear about the backlash the Winter 2021 cosmetic case got?
