Tranformation could be probably done as ancillary/item providing ability to transform (quest item or unique levelup item)
This way you can use script to invalidate the quest which can be done from MCT. (Possibly)

Let me tell you MCT is not something I would call easy to learn :D
Also I dont believe skills can be enabled/disabled with MCT, however since this is one of the first mods I've made transformation was done kinda sloppy. You could possibly. What I wanted to do was rework where there would be one mod, with skill invalidating one another. Either you get demon summon or White raven summon but I sadly never got to it :(

If you have ideas they're certainly welcome, I am looking for passing down the torch and thats the reason why I would like for both of my babies to be adopted together :D

Might be something to look into if i have the motivation as a first step into warhammer modding, maybe learning how to do it via MCT where you can enable and disable what skills they have, not sure if that is possible tho.

Hey, i know you dropped modding, but i wanted to try my chance anyway. After latest update of the main mod, this add on started to cause CTDs. Is there any possibility to update the mod?

Non-sar / sar should be interchangable but I havent tried :D cataclysm spells Can be found in other mods. Freya's incarnate traits+ trait manager is one way, Item Fusion mod providers gold tier arcane items that give +1 cata spell use. (Cataclysm of %NameOfLore%) Or play gelt :D my man this hero+Sarthorael is already 1man doomstack :D

Issue is that Sarthorael is not in Battlemage, I would have to make new animation set for him and then transformation wouldn't CTD the game. This is one of the reason why "No Sarthorael" version exists :)

I was thinking about locking it behind skill at maybe level 50. This guy is doomstack as he is even before I touched him because having maxed out magic at level 2 when you start game is strong on its own.

Another Idea I was thinking about would be to lock transformation as quest reward ancillary (like unique stuff for lords) and recycling Archeon standoff against sarthorael. This is something I may do one day but I am not capable of doing it yet.

So far we have 1:1 to nerf and not to nerf. I am gonna leave it as it is for now and maybe later start doing some adjustments

I vote nerf, not to complicate life for you.

But on another note I have seen the results of GLF battle mage first hand and for me at least it means he can not act after transforming until he casts a targeted skill. So I am currently look for a suitable option to try and add to his skills myself on the skill bar not the spell bar. Something that won't help him a ton but is always ready to make his other form usable within seconds of using it. I also tried adding a man cost to his transform and increasing the cooldown but this blew up in my face for some reason. In shorter words I can be sure I can keep using the mod anyhow in it's current state since it makes my game so darn easy no matter who I am playing. It's my intent to keep using it though since it is very fun. Thank you for mod.

Ehh... Mr Steiner I believe language barrier makes me a bit confused now :D
Addvisor can fly on his pegasus, same for sarthorael, he can fly too. In both cases can also use spells while flying. Multiple mods are needed for users to have a choice if they want/dont want demon. Also to respect prop_joe author rights I will only make my addon separate from original addvisor, I will not merge them into 1.

He should be able to fly and all the spells that are in total, gives and awaken dead again
And that you only need one mod and not 4 mod s

Ladies and Gentlemen, back when I made this mod I could barely understand what I am doing and I plan to revisit this, with some polish :)
Those of you that play with this mod I would like to ask you guys, would you like to have that transformation spell nerfed by just locking it behind a skill at maybe level 30-40 or have that + nerf the stats? On one hand Sarthorael is a steamroller and really strong fighter, on the other hand dies to 2 missile units focusing him down. I would like to see your thoughts

Tweaked Skaven a bit, they ended up having 7 spells instead of 6, removed that one extra eshin spell to keep it nice and tidy in 1 spellbar :]

Just airdropped some XP on my Advisor through console. Selected Lore of Ghrond lvl 15, no abilities granted.

I did notice diferent UI icons for whatever reason but they should still work, or they don't? If nah don't worry should be easy to hotfix

I think he problem is with Lore of Ghrond, Lore of High Elves, Lore of Ruin and Lore of Vampires. Their lvl 15 versions have different icons than the lvl 1 versions. Also they don't show which spells you will unlock upon selecting it, unlike their lvl 1 versions (or lvl 15 versions of other Lores). Lore of Tzeentch. etc seems to be working fine.
Haven't tested without mods tho

New lores of magic dont add spells. I chose lore of life at level 1 and at 15 level lore of vampire, lore of vampire doesnt add spells.

Some reflections after spending unhealthy amount of time playing with this, Sarthorael is a powerhouse, almost one man doomstack :D so I made alternative mod, same new spells and stuff, just no demonhood, I got too used to wrecking 3 full stacks of skaven with this guy :D

Velox just to rule out its somehow PJ's file you can load it in RPFM and if you get popup about possibly outdated tables its the issue of outdated file. Other then this I believe issue may be another mod possibly touching addvisor, maybe "GLF Battle Mage" compatibility or if you have any other mod touching this guy. I just loaded the game just in case, new campaing and it worked like charm. Alsooo...any chance you may have older save? you can try fresh campaign to see if that will have same issue

@♿ iDon'tSpeakRussian! ♿ thanks! But I have just reinstalled the game after a few months and I know a bit of modding myself so I'm pretty sure my files are all new and updated. I think some other mod is causing it which is weird its the first time I've experienced such a bug in any recent TW game. Thanks for the mod :D I'll try to comment here too if I ever figure out whats causing it when I have the time

Velox make sure you update original advisor mod. If it helps try to unsubscribe and subscribe again. This is due to you having outdated addvisor that was broken by 4.0 patch :)
PJ fixed it but maybe your steam did not update his mod

Weird my Advisor still cant seem to interact with the campaign map even if I put this above or even below the base mod (i know the correct one should be above it but I tried both ways since it didn't work eitherway) I haven't actually checked what changeshappened in the tables to cause this in the OG mod or other modded heroes tho
