@Rydinsky Don't worry. I think it didn't work before, I don't know if it works now because I haven't played for a long time. But the armour depends on Tsar's Library. So unless it's implemented in there, I'm afraid the armour does not protect the car. Other vehicles like KI5's use proprietary code for them to work, but I use Tsar's Lib. It does many cool things, but I think that the armour is still broken.

@mentalist666 Well... Against vanilla vehicles, it's probably somewhat close, can't exactly remember what their durability is like when I haven't driven vanilla vehicles in years.

@Deadsphere I just opened the game for you, to test that the modifications menu is working. And guess what, it's working. I press "V" next to the Volvo and the option to open the "Modifications" menu is there. I really don't know why it's not working for you, but I can ensure that it's not a problem of my mod or the Tsar's Lib. So, I'm sorry, but I can't help you.

You can't possibly sit here and tell me I am the only person who has ever reported this issue. I have all of the required mods installed, and yet it does not work. I could not tell you why, because the game doesn't report any errors when I try to use it.

I did this for both the Mustang, and this, and yet I got no results. I even turned off other car mods to see if that was the issue, and still got nothing.

One of these two things is fucked, and I would certainly appreciate not being called the problem when I have followed YOUR INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER.

@everyone That being said, I won't develop or pay someone else to develop a proprietary code for my mods since I publish them for free, and nobody pays my work. I gave you all the best I can do with all I got. My mods will never be as great as KI5's, that's a fact.

@YamaKisu I haven't really tried the durability of the Volvo since I haven't played much PZ since I published it. It wasn't either meant to be a very strong car because it's a 80's utility car, it's not a Jeep or a Humvee. If you think it's "way too weak", I could take a look back to the code and check it out. But its durability should be similar to the vanilla sedan.

Talking about the bullbar and other Modifications through Tsar's menu, the way the bullbar should protect the car it's in its own code, in the Tsar's Lib. I can't help with that, I'm sorry.

@Deadsphere Other vehicle mods like KI5's use proprietary code, developed exclusively for his mods with copyright. I'm not a programmer, I'm a mechanic who likes a bit of 3D modeling and coding, but I have no teachers, I had to learn it all by myself. iBrRus has invested his time in giving us a free code library for modders who don't know very much about programming.

So no, it's not easier at all, it took me 4 months to finish this mod, it's a huge amount of work. If you find a better way to make it, I'll be glad to hear it and apply to my mod. Until then, there are, at the moment 56,737 people using my mod and you're the only one saying that the "Modifications" menu doesn't work, so I'm thinking it's not a problem of my mod at all, or even Tsar's Lib. I'm sorry that you're having that issue, but I can't help you, because it does work for the rest of us.

@mentalista666 I did try the Mustard once before and it too lacked that option on the wheel when I had it. Either Tsar's is fucked or both mods are fucked, because other vehicle mods that have interchangable parts and window armors work, and do not require a completely separate menu to apply those pieces.

Would it not be simpler to just do it how other car mods do it, and just make it an option to install these things via the mechanics menu? Instead of through a menu you apparently have no idea how to troubleshoot despite the fact it's YOUR MOD?

@Deadsphere I don't know what to say then... Have you tried with vehicle mods like the Fjord Mustard by iBrRus and MrDanny? It uses the same "Modifications" menu.

@mentalista666 That's the thing, it doesn't show up when I push V. I have Tsar's and everything else installed but it doesn't show up.

@Deadsphere The "Modifications" option in the radial menu appears, or it should appear, when you press "V" right next to the vehicle. Be sure to be close enogh to the car 😊

That's for some of the parts. Other parts go by the Mechanics Interface.

One way. If I do that I can't exchange parts with other vanilla cars.

@Zenith Eitherway, you can craft Volvo's parts with standard vehicle parts plus other little things, in the crafting menu pressing "B".

I know. That's exactly what I'm asking for. I'd rather have a version without them because the simplicity of shareable modular parts outweighs the value of custom ground models.

@Zenith The reason why these vehicle mods use custom parts is because you need to create new ones so they can be shown on the ground when you take it off the vehicle. If I use vanilla parts like "standard" ones, I can't make them to show on the ground. They're unique 3D models.

Can we get a version without custom parts? Having lots of car mods sucks if all of them use unique parts instead of standard/sport/heavy duty.

@RyukoT72 Thank you for your words, I'm glad that you've added my car to your Volvo collection 😊 To install the rear spoiler, open the radial menu with "V" key next to the car and open the "Modifications" menu (wrench with a "+" symbol). This menu allows you to install some other parts too.

Hello. Thank you for this great mod. I love this car so much, I decided to fully restore it once I met an unexpected tree. However there's a small problem. Crafting a hood required 15 units of propane, while a torch contains a maximum of 10.

@Meyar Thanks for your comments! Sadly I don't think there's a way to recycle the parts back into the original components. If there's a way, I don't know how to do that. If somebody finds the way to make that, I'd be glad to hear it.

Hi there, love the mod, reminds me of my (slightly newer '95) first car. I'm running heavily modified, is there a way to 'recycle' the parts back into their base components? Like returning a Volvo windshield crafted from a base game windshield back into a base game windshield.

Failing that, is there an easy way to break the items down for some kind of returned resources? Especially the glass.

@Пеко I wanted it to be as real as a real one, I used some blueprints for that as a base. It's definitely not a "lore friendly" vehicle haha but I think it fits the world of Project Zomboid.

It is not just a lore friendly mod, it is a reminder of another time of real life

I liked to introduce the Spiffo slot for the plushie on the car hahaI thought it would be funny and cool to see it there!

@[1stBdC]_Papa_Chow I guess I made the script like that, to use a medium gas tank, so that's what it fits with the Volvo. It's not a small car, but it's neither a truck. If you're asking for a technical reason, it's because it's not scripted that this Volvo can use a big gas tank.

@Leo Maybe you don't have the requested level, materials or tools? Be sure to search in the Crafting menu. The Modifications menu from Tsar's Lib is only for installing the roof rack on the car once you have it. Also I'm glad that you love it!

Does anyone know why i cant craft the roof rack i have all of the items for it it just doesent let me craft it. And love the mod keep it up
