if wild write:cheat summon Deinonychus_Character_BP_C
i hope this will helps:)
- GCM and fly around and land on each suitable location
- Enter the command CCC (stands for Copy Coords to Clipboard)
- Paste the sets of coords down somewhere
You can send that over and I can do the rest from there
Could you possibly explain what I'd have to do regarding that? I'm pretty new to Ark
Due to a mod I used needing it (and the getallstate command needing it) I'd set -PreventHibernation in the game's launch options a long time ago then completely forgot about it.)
I removed that command traveled to the locations the Deinonychus spawn at now, then hung around for a few minutes for them to come out of hibernation and the nests to spawn (there are now seven on my map), headed back to safety, exited the game then put the command back into the launch options. After getting back into the game I was able to confirm the nests are still there (YAY!), so if any others are having a similar issue be sure to check those game launch settings!
I guess I'll just keep checking them periodically.
They absolutely do because I check the locations every time i get a comment. Here's a screenshot: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1144616042644111440/1214950613452988446/image.png?ex=65faf9ee&is=65e884ee&hm=9c3215b833c6b7f7087ad49c168b5e5d9d05b8f8ecf74010c3120ca90704b827&
The only potential thing I can think of is an issue like ASA had with WC leaving wyvern nests in the overseer arena, that only affected servers because singleplayer doesnt load the area
Here's a list of the coordinates for SetPlayerPos. they'll only spawn a nest if they're close enough to one of these locations

The wiki you linked has the same commands listed and instructions on how to use 'getallstate' (which works for everything else, and works for the nests that I force spawn with the summon command.) The only thing noticeably different between the two sites for this is the 'destroyall' command is indicated to require another value at the end now, but doesn't indicate anything about requiring another value at the end for 'getallstate' (a list of additional values is provided at the end of the output, the player only needs to input that value when looking for a specific entity.)

I've tried hanging out around each of the three packs for around thirty minutes each, no eggs or nest spawn automatically for Deinonychus on Lost Island.
Not sure what you mean by a breeding process because egg spawning doesn't do anything like that, they just have a timer before they look for a nest point close enough to them. And the video is just an example for how to apply the process, it's not referring to deinonychus at all
I tried using the information from the notes here:
https://ark.fandom.com/wiki/Deinonychus_Nest_(Valguero)
However, 'cheat getallstate DeinonychusNest_C' doesn't have any returns. When I try 'cheat summon DeinonychusNest_C' near one of the three packs they start the breeding process but the nest despawns before they can complete it, resetting them.
I watched the video, and I think the info in that is part of the problem. Following that example the referenced dino spawns at the edges of the swamps in the south-west of the island but the three packs of Deinonychus spawn in the steppes in the east of the island.
they function perfectly waiting out the mechanic. has been verified multiple times ingame.
So I was just unlucky Thank you!
Or are the eggs just on the ground and we have to try to find them in the grass?
We are playing on Lost island and do Not have KBD, am I just incredibly unlucky with 3 packs I've been watching, or am I missing a mod somewhere?
