Description
Mod ID: 3037257184

This mod aims to add Deinonychus to all maps it was not on previously, and lays eggs to be tameable on those maps. Support is currently only for some maps, because it takes a long time to set up nests, but I will support all official maps eventually. This mod is not a map extension, so you don't have to worry about, for example, floating nests in midair on random maps.
This mod is currently set up for The Island, Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, and Lost Island. Crystal Isles will be the next map added, followed by Genesis 1.

Make sure to do a wild dinowipe with the command Cheat Destroywilddinos after adding the mod so it can spawn!

The Deinonychus are vanilla, the only edit, to the speed of wild egg laying, does NOT remap it. This means that it will remain if the mod is removed, and bugs with mechanics other than wild egg laying are NOT related to this mod. Mechanics when tamed are completely unaffected, yes, laying unfertilised Raptor eggs is vanilla. You can find its spawn code on https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Deinonychus

Spawn locations:
Thanks to Stella for a video on how to use these:
https://youtu.be/hopjRcm22w0
Note that this mod will only use these spawns when on the maps they were designed for, due to nesting locations. So, unlike the majority of my mods, they will NOT spawn on all maps that use these locations.
Using the following INI config,
[DeinonEverywhere]
DisableMapSpawnLocks=True
Will allow spawning on every map that the spawn container is used on, for people using KBD. If not using KBD, they will still NOT lay eggs on maps that they have not been set up for yet.

The Island: DinoSpawnEntriesSnow_C
Lost Island: DinoSpawnEntries_Steppe_C
Scorched Earth: SE_DinoSpawnEntriesBadlands_C
Ragnarok: DinoSpawnEntries_Ragnarok_Scotland_C

You can check which vanilla maps use which containers on https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Spawn_entries
You can check where these containers are used (where the dinos in them will spawn) on each map's spawn map

INI Options:

Goes into GameUserSettings.ini under the header [DeinonEverywhere]

The mod edits Deinonychus' egg spawning to make it faster and a more consistent, setting the timer to one second and doubling the range they look for a nest location. You can disable it with the INI option:

DisableFasterEggSpawning=True

To allow spawning on every map that the spawn container is used on, for people using KBD. If not using KBD, they will still NOT lay eggs on maps that they have not been set up for yet.
DisableMapSpawnLocks=True

The fandom wiki is abandoned and vandalised. You'll want to use the up to date wiki: https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Fjordur

I'm working on getting the coordinates for Deino nests, but I actually have another question regarding the Fjordur animals. I've been told that the Aurochs is an animal that exists in-game, but it seems like it's forgotten otherwise. Could you add the Aurochs in your Fjordur mod?

Most of it's on the mod end, so the process ingame is pretty simple:
- GCM and fly around and land on each suitable location
- Enter the command CCC (stands for Copy Coords to Clipboard)
- Paste the sets of coords down somewhere
You can send that over and I can do the rest from there

If I knew how to do that I would :steamfacepalm: ha ha
Could you possibly explain what I'd have to do regarding that? I'm pretty new to Ark

I haven't had time to work on most of my spawn mods with commission work, but if you grab nest location coordinates that match the Snow biome (I can't target ruins specifically) I can add those

Can you please make them spawn in The Center? I had planned to do it myself, but I haven't gotten around to it. My idea was that, as there are various large, empty ruins dotted across the map without a big purpose (so far as I see), maybe Deinos can have their nests in those
