im not sure if its the other mods causing issues but lately havent had the rakata system spawn when i dont use it as a starting system

The only thing ive noticed is after 4.0 the amount of amenities the hive version takes is with the old scaling of like -5 vs -500. otherwise seems to be fine.

I need to run a playthrough or two to make sure it's all good to go or if something needs updating. From what I can tell it can still run on 4.0 but I'll do the version push once I clear it of unintended bugs.

For those who are wondering about conflicts, this conflicts with a lot of SW total conversion mods. A lot of those mods add their own version of the Rakata system or the Star Forge. This is meant to be a standalone.

mod update request: would it be possible to be able to add the ability to build titans and colossus level ships from the forge. I like the idea of 20 star eaters rolling off the production line fast.

@FunnelVortex disregard. It works now. I was able to figure out what the issue was. It had to do with the Giga Megastructures mod, which when you start a game you select options for what you want and i didn't select the infinite structures for everything. So it kept giving me the location system requrement in order to build the Star Forge. But now in game because i selected infinite for everything it eliminated that requirement for system and now im able to make star forges without being required to be in the system.

It should not matter what origin you pick, anyone other than machines can activate it. Also Rak Technology is not part of my mod, are you using another mod that is causing conflict?

I was able to build the Star Forge without the required system start but now i can't build it when i selected a different orgin start but i do have the Rak Technology talent. Is there a way to make it optional for orgin for start system or no option so we can build it anywhere in any system if we just have the Rak Technology talent?

Because the Star Forge requires force-sensitive organics to use and operate. It's basically a parasite that forms a co-dependent relationship with the population of the civilization that uses it.

Why can't Machine Intelligence's activate the Starforge? I was trying to RP as the Starforge going rampant and mass producing Battledroids and Warships.

lol thanks! And don't worry I'll fix the opinion modifier not being removed bug at some point I just to get motivation for coding again. Also might need to implement some sort of thing to account for AI difficulty since AI can cheese it with stability buffs especially late game on higher settings as of now.

The negative 200 opinion modifier "Star Forge User" persists even after the empire using the Forge loses it in war.

In my latest game i have a machine empire and i wanted to spawn the star forge into my starting system, which works, but when i tried to upgrade it, it tells me not for machine empire nonono you don't ... would it be possible for at least the guys who just spawn by command the star forge that they are not restricted in this way? I am ok fully understand that such is a thing for origins, but why for a spawned in object -_- . Is there a way to circumvent this other to becomeing bio squishi and back again?
Anyways great mod otherwise and i can't wait to use it for the ultimate doom machine =)

Now there are two in the playthrough ... but there shall be only one owning them hrhr

Does anyone know if this mod is still glitching with the Star Wars systems and portrait mod where it makes the star forge appear like a multi-color box?

The system initializer is rakata_initializer and the name of the inactive/Level 0 star forge is star_forge_inactive, hope that helps.

Nah what I meant was spawn it in game rather than have it as a start system. I wanna start on earth and have the rakata system nearby as if it were to be discovered, hence why Ive been fiddling with the console to try to spawn it

You do it in Empire setup. When selecting system type you select "Rakata System".

A patch maybe? So we can have thew choice. I just like the Megastructure aspect. Don't get me wrong, Star Wars is something I love, but I also love Pandoras Star. This is a core feature for my Prime race playthrough(Gestalt that turns into a MI).

Funnel. First absolutely love the mod. Second, can you make it so a Machine Intelligence can use it? I love playing as basically a Fallen Empire and watching the galaxy grow, or as a machine overlord. Love it!

I tried to balance it with pop management and stability debuffs and have it eat unity to represent the dark side's influence over your empire and also tried to have it where once it's upgraded to stage 4/10 everyone sees you as a threat and is likely to gang up on you.

I am not sure how ACOT works and how it gets around it since I don't play with it, but I really did try to balance it.

This mod plus ACOT makes for a very overpowered empire since you can combine this mod's home system with ACOTs origin Legacy of The Void, it wven has a leg up on the vanilla mega shipyard except when it comes to producing the titan and flagship.

Nope... i just realize how idiot i am. I was picked the rakate system at start, but choose the origin away on an island... so it overrides the starting system... and i am not noticed it. So... never mind! It was my fault! Sorry.
