This is an awesome mod. Could we get a CB for machine empires to "liberate machines" from organics? Essentially, it would create a new independent machine empire out of the worlds you conquer

Revanchism has been in the mod for a while now. It stops snowballing by buffing your defeated enemies. The more you bully one power over and over again, the stronger the buff gets.

As the ethics of pre-ftl interference is still widely debated (some people say that withholding information from billions of people based on something as subjective and arbitrary as "cultural progress" is cruel and immoral) could it be made into a separate war goal from stop atrocities? In any case, it just seems like it would give more options for role play purposes. Btw I've been using this mod for months and I just wanted to say I love it! It's so fun for role play.

Ok, I write this after a long search for a better solution for the "restore Galactic Community" casus belli. While I get it, that it shouldnt be too easy to Spark Rebellion, the way it is done in vanilla is just terrible.
I have two questions, as your mod is very appealing to me. First, can you replace said casus belli with a total war one? Like if you know Star Wars lore, there the Empire Worlds are conquered by the New Republic, not just occupied and given back. And Second, could you make it easier to trigger rebellion for AI? Now the last one isnt as important to me, than the cb replacement, since I play heavily modded, I just use console for it.
I know you are a human with a life, so I am aware of no promises from you. I like the mod, it is making the game more alive. Thank you. Have a great day.

That's a great idea and it's now implemented. Rather than implement a separate CB, I've implemented an entirely new 'revanchism' mechanic that provides (quite strong) military buffs upon losing wars, and grows stronger the more wars you lose. Fanatic Pacifists with Revanchism will bypass the limitation in the games rules against them declaring wars of conquest to reclaim lost territories.

As of the moment, FPs cannot even reclaim lost territories, which makes thematic sense but is just sad

Had a bad experience with AI removing my Oppressive authocracy (civic_dystopian_society) with these wargoals. I can't reform back into it and that was kind of my whole game plan.

There's a light typo in the localisation for anti_ai_police_action where it translates as "Ation" instead of "Action".

The mod has wargoals for the original precursor relics but I’m aware Astral Planes dramatically increased the possible number. I’ll have a think about if/how to implement a general raiding-style CB.

been looking for a way to gain relics through wars/war goals. There were a couple of mods like Relic Wars/Raiders, but they all seem to be abandoned. Would you mind putting such a wargoal into your mod?

@communista; So, let's say we have a wargoal whose string is named "wg_ideology". If we want to add a description to it (e.g. War is waged to force an enemy to adopt our ideals), we use the string "wg_ideology_desc". When we want to write the effects for them, we use the string "wg_ideology_effect". If you want to add more effects to it, maybe some effects that only apply to participants that meet certain criteria, etc, you can say "wg_ideology_effect_2", or "wg_ideology_subject". It can be anything. To display it, in the wargoals file, under one of the agreement sections ("on_status_quo", "on_accept"), in the "from" block, you can put the custom_tooltips (the effect strings). You can also use "if" blocks to set conditions for how each of the strings are displayed.

Suggestion: You should add custom tooltips for the effects of each new wargoal, alongside the text for humiliation, as it's pretty hard to guess what exactly surrendering in such a war would mean for your nation, or what it would do to your enemy.

The issue is related to cb_reverence_for_life. I digged in to the files a bit more and... you can't use this cb against civic_fanatic_purifiers?
It wasn't obvious in the description and war declaration window. The interface makes all the lines look similar.

For whatever reason I can't use this mod wargoals. I want to start a war with purists, but it is blocked. The script recognises purist tag, but "all conditions must be valid" and "one of conditions must be valid" are still X

Have removed some of the wargoal locking that commentators below complained about.

The Stop Atrocities wargoal allows you to outlaw slavery and purging in the targeted empire.

AI using demilitarize seems to lock me out of a choosing a war goal. It always selects demilitarize as my war goal, even if I wanted to do something else (humiliation or take a relic).
