Am I missing something or are some of the legendary quirks and such not working? Like, the gorewing doesnt properly have its 360 yaw angle, despite it being listed as a quirk, and the partial wing kit on the apache seems to just function as a normal jump jet.

@༒Nairodstar༒ So me and Deadraiser who are working on Yet Another Clan Mech had made a agreement to essentially split the Clan mechs between us, so while mine will move to YACM, there are some such as the Stormcrow that will likely appear in YACM first.

I'm not opposed to it, I just don't like stepping on toes all that much.

Correct, due to the complexity of the Omni style of Mech [In universe] they are carefully designed around the engine and Gyro's ability to compensate for the ever changing weight load of the Gyro, and in some instances the Elementals hanging onto them.

In game, YACM made them Fixed and immovable to emulate this. There is a option in YACM that lets you move those around, but it needs code I can't seem to get working for my YALM mechs. Been working on that on and off here and there.

@WODZU123098 clan mechs have fixed components. the way i understand it is that clan mechs have much better tech then the IS. also clan mechs weapons are very customizable alot of them using omni slots able to hold any weapon type. so they get the biggest weapon selection but they cant change there internals. thats how i understand it

@Scubert I'll do what I can, the issue is how MW5 does skins, I'd need to override every vanilla black knight skin, so any modded ones, like those added by YAML or such wouldn't account for it. I might look to just give it a flat texture instead. might not look as nice, but it will accommodate all the other skins.

the black knight 'red reaper' hero mech's helmet accessory turns into a weird red texture if you switch to any paint scheme than the default one it has, would appreciate if this got fixed but it looks very cool in default colors too.

@Malum Umbra I dont see the Onyx on my list of mechs. do i need a dlc to see it or is it not called a centurion?

So the Onyx has a unique shield that is only a part of it that only it can have.

I know there is another modder making shield assets for all the vanilla MW5 mechs. Rumia I believe is the author. Their making progress.

I'll keep a eye on things to be sure. I know the Clan faction, as one that is added in, has some quirks and kinks I need to learn and adjust around.

@༒Nairodstar༒ So the Clan faction itself is handled by Yet Another Clan Mech which is now a requirement, since there are mechs from that mod that have legendary mechs, and it would be annoying to have to make my own, which would bog up spawn pools.

uhhh well when you did the update from may 4 which the clan mechs did should up on the list but for missions you can't fight the clans anymore for the custom scenario on instant action like you can set the years up and such.

Is this updated on par to the nexus version? The dates for the updates on this one dont match by one day, and clan mechs were not spawing when i fought the clans

So the Solaris variants that are added do require DLC 6 , but they will not spawn unless you have it. They use parts and models from the DLC and are set to appear in the Arena missions offered by the DLC

Update: I changed some stuff on my computer and removed a couple items. I revreted back to YALM 2.8.1 and went back a system or two in the saves. I re-ran the same mission, no crashes. So maybe it was just a mech loading in that specific mission/save or maybe it was the revert to 2.8.1 or maybe it was one of the other minor changes I did to the game/mods/computer. I dunno. But its all fixed now (no crashes after 10 missions) so I am not complaining.

I removed Battlegrid Orders (since it doesn't work for me anyways) and I updated Google Chrome for the changes. Then I downgraded YALM to the December update. But everything appears good.

i have bought the legendary mech parts from the market and have the amount needed to assemble them but when i right clock to assemble them it says parts needed 0 and the price is 0 but when i click assemble nothing happens and no parts r used

@Kraegor The only changes I'd made was in regards to the Wolverine Legend having a single heatsink instead of a double, and the Seraph Legendary had Shoulder and Hand Actuators, when it should have had Shoulder and Lower Actuators

I don't believe any of that would lead to fatal errors, though MW5 has never been good with making logs of errors, i'd try and taking YALM off and see if the same issues persist, then try and ask in the Yet Another Mechlab Discord, their more knowledgeable when it comes to crashes and errors.

@general shadowclaw I've not touched the Salvage items since they were added, so I'm unsure what seems to be the issue, as their all setup properly, and I'm able to assemble mechs with the salvage I gain from killing a Legendary mech, though they are seperated from the Vanilla ones, so killing a Vanilla mech, won't let you build a Legendary, they have their own salvage parts.

So my game updated this a few days ago, and its the only mod that has updated in the past 3 days, and now I am getting a lot of fatal errors and crashes mid-game. Coincidence? Or something major changed?

hi, my salvage appears with a [Legend] tag in shops but after purchasing does not appear in my salvage assembly. is this a common issue? wasn't able to find any leads on here or nexusmods

@Sir Wozzel Yeah the Hunchback Legionnaire is technically a joke mech, same as the Megas XLR. So it shouldn't be spawning, I'll see if I can check that, the massive share cost was a sort of fall back if it did spawn in a campaign to prevent it from being collected.

Should be only obtainable in Instant Action, and if you spawn it with YAML's cheat codes.

It looks like Hunchback HBK-LEG parts are worth 107,142 share cost in arenas (maybe other places but I have only seen it in arenas).

Hi, thanks for your mod. It's awesome and I can't imagine playing MW5 without it. Any chance we'll get to see the glory of Grand Summoner and the Woolf's Dragoons collection? That Clan-tech Nightstar is sooo tempting. Plus I'd love to see Wolf's Dragoons use their famous mechs when they ambush me xD

I'll take a look @KLS I know V2 Salvage uses the Battlevalue of the mech and it's equipment to determine the Salvage cost, which I don't have much control of without making the mech too common.

Is the salvage cost for the VTR-LDT supposed to be 63 per part + it has no description?
Other legendary mechs in its weight class are around 10-15 per part (maybe because of the Hero Encounters mod?).

Hey Malum, I really love this mod and the mechs it adds into the game. The most recent update broke the game for me on 10/05/24 I think it was. Game crashes when I try to launch missions now.

@Swanky So the H7 and the Z7 variants of my mechs which are ment to be Solaris Clan custom mechs won't appear in you're game if you lack the Solaris DLC. Their tagged to require it since they use equipment from those DLCs

Unfortunately that's a harder thing to remedy since that's a issue with the animation set used. The closest I could find that fit the model, and functioned half decently was the Phoenix Hawk. Which is slightly shorter, so it puts its feet into the ground. I can still see about editing it with what I know now.

Vapor eagle's elbow model is broken and its foot is buried under the ground when it stand still. How the graphics model is broken is clearly visible in your screenshots.(the gorewing one in the snowy map)

Having an issue with just the Marauder II trying to assemble the salvage. Not sure if that's an issue with this mod or the base YAML mod.

Something stopped working for the MAD-IIC-DN, no weapons are appearing on the model in the mech bay. In mission there's no UI or weapon functionality, third person view sends the camera OOB.

bug report: the loader king legendary mech is bugged. cannot shoot its torso, your bullet will fly through its body.

Any word about the War Emu? Still doesn't seem to apply bonuses to any of the Auto Cannons.
