Blood color need adjustment. Now it is very easy to get confuse with the cross. Or maybe can you add an option for us to change the cross color? Or maybe you can just change the enemy cross to green

Pretty cool mod! If you don't mind I could perhaps mention a few feature requests?
1. Setting for blood color or at least transparency (I have a feeling ~70% alpha might look good)
2. Blood sprites seem to be visibly low res?
3. You can kinda tell that it's just overlaying square PNGs over the game, what I mean is that the blood splatters fill up most of the sprite. Using slightly larger images and generally not "fitting" the blood into the available image size would produce great results.
4. Blood fading out over time could be neat (e.g. after 15 seconds begin fade, then fade out over 3 seconds or something). Seeing the whole battlefield covered in blood is cool but having visual feedback over *recent* damage is also valuable.

Thinking back on Binding of Isaac, things like small gore bits from killed enemies, more variety to the blood puddles might be nice, and perhaps blood pools growing/spreading slowly rather than being static.. I've no idea what the limits of brotato are, though.

I'm not quite sure, honestly. I'd love to see some more "dynamics" to the blood, but I'm not even sure if that's feasible in the scope of brotato. If I come up with any specific ideas, I'll certainly post a comment here. What are your ideas, if I may ask?

Doesn't work for me. Disabled all other mods, tested various melee/ranged weapons, but it still doesn't work.

This messes up the UI a lot. You can see the material counter in your screenshots is moved to the right for some reason.
