I've always wanted to watch others play this, instead of watching only myself play/test it. Partly for curiosity and observation, partly for fun.
I'm requesting to be able to watch the broadcast of those who have TinyTown (to friend-request me for the time while playing/watching, etc), starting from the beginning of your game.
I would mostly just watch and not bother a player with chat, though i'd be available for chat and questions if so desired.
My times would be mostly U.S. central time evenings, and different times on weekends. I'd also prefer watching those who rarely play fast-forward and enjoy playing it normal speed. Lastly, you'd need to have a 'normal'/gaming P.C., steam doesn't support watching a game played on deck or console (?).
Thank You :)
Btw, what is your experience with the wildlife?
The difficulty level has been increased; New custom map locations; Preexisting custom maps have received aesthetic refinements and practical changes.
New custom maps -
- Woody Creek
- Backwoods
- Crag Plains
- Boulder Plains
- Loch Lands East
- Loch Lands West
I have now played the scenario to the end of Iron Age and must say I have enjoyed the scenario very much.
I followed my own rules to play it, this is to say I kept my population to max 50.
I limited my housing to 10 tents in Paleolithic for a population of 30 and upgraded those 10 tents to huts when I unlocked 'thatching' in Neolithic for a population of 40.
I then waited to be able to upgrade those 10 huts to roundhouses in Bronze Age for a max population of 50.
My population never went over 50, I did not build any gates and managed the many raiders sometimes just.
It is all about micromanagement to be able to keep your economy going, your fields planted and harvested to have enough straw to feed your animals.
Feeding your population is your easiest task in this scenario.
The hardest is losing as little population as you can so to have enough adults to work and fight raiders.
I would like to ear from other players about their experience with the scenario.
Which rules did they follow? their fighting tactics, their reliance on animals etc...
DOM is a finished game so we can only rely on replayability to keep enjoying this marvelous game.
Awaiting your comments.
I think I'll restart the game and see what happens.
