Just pushed out a small update to get it compatible with 1.6.

On some quick testing, no, it throws errors and does not work.

However, I'm currently on a new computer, and only just looking back into rimworld now that 1.6 was released. The source code should be in the mod files, so anyone is free to make their own patch or version that works. otherwise, I can't really confirm if/when i can get to patching it for 1.6.

Just checked what Lurmey said.
Caravans work normal
Vehicle caravans also function as expected.
So not sure what's his issue is

@Lurmey what exactly you did and what exactly doesn't work?

For ranged cleanup option maybe include some special pod that can be launched by pod launcher?
Target the hex and once it reaches destination it drops pollution by certain % (instantly or gradually)
That way several pods would be necessary for very polluted hexes

@DrBossWatson; that's unfortunately not the point. Having this mod installed broke vehicle caravans regardless of whether I wanted to clean or not. It's not that *this* mod breaks with vehicles, it's that *vehicles* break with this mod loaded.

It may have been exclusive to my mod list though. If others can try it and let Saulens know the result it may be helpful for fixing it.

Does it still work for a normal caravan? Just not a vehicle convoy? If that's the case you could always split your pawns off the convoy to clean then merge them back into the convoy for transport.

For the time being I've removed the mod from my list as I need to be able to work with vehicle caravans but if I get time I'll try to investigate and narrow down exactly which mods are involved.

So, looking at my own game, which has Vehicle Framework but not VFEC or VFECore (Vanilla Factions Expanded I assume), and creating a vehicle caravan, I don't have the gizmo, but I am also not seeing any errors in the debug log. I guess I'll try looking at it sometime, or if you wish you can look at or point other people at the source code in the mod itself.

Oh I just looked at the log. It just compresses all 3000+ of the errors into a single error at the bottom. There you go I guess scroll all the way to the bottom and you should see it haha

I think there may be a conflict between this and Vehicle Framework? I get error spam when selecting a vehicle caravan now and all the gizmos disappear when that caravan is selected.

Please ensure you click "View full file" at the top of the page so you can see the not truncated version. Visual Exceptions says there was about 3000 of that error by the time I uploaded the log.. so it should be pretty easy to spot!

Wearing gas masks etc definitely does reduce the amount of toxic buildup pawns in a caravan receive when they pass through polluted tiles.. and if the buffs were permanent like through a precept for instance it would definitely work, but I'm not sure if an active ability works in a caravan so I'll have to test when I get the chance.

@Lurmey as far as I know a caravan being in a polluted area doesn't have any direct toxic environment calculations, or at the very least I do not touch them. Otherwise, The cleaning speed is based off of the colonists/etc. cleaning speed, so if the cleaning speed is changed the caravan cleaning speed should change in turn.

I've been looking for this! Would it work well at all with the Conservationist role from this mod?

The ability of that role buffs cleaning speed and toxic environment resistance of nearby pawns but I'm not sure if abilities continue to work once in a caravan.
