If it wasn't for you I would have kept it the same as before.
I had fun trying to find new and better ways to improve my mod.
Thanks a lot! I love feedback such as yours!
Have fun!

Mod updated.
Added filters so no more multiple bills for each stone type like before (8 recipes in total)
Now at 4 recipes. Skill requirements added as well, both for low level and high levels.

4 crafting for 1 stone = 10 steel
6 crafting for 3 stones = 30 steel

12 crafting for 1 stone = 20 steel
16 crafting for 3 stones = 60 steel

Have fun everyone.

You are absolutely right about the several bills part, thanks for the info and the testing by your side.
I will try to see if I can do something about it right now.

Oh and a "mod option" to change the amount of "work" required for the extraction, and maybe another to change the amount of steel received from from the extraction? :)

This mod appears to function correctly in version 1.6 as is (tested with only HugsLib, Harmony, and XML Extensions running other than base game/DLC).

This is a fantastic mod however, if I could make a suggestion - Instead of having a recipe for each individual type of stone chunk, it would probably be better to have two recipes; "Extract steel from chunk" and "Extract steel from chunk x3" and then have what types of chunks you want to break down as toggle's in the material selection area (like when crafting a shirt for example, you can change what material is used). That would make the UI much cleaner and save having several bills added to the crafting spot/stonecutter.

I can quickly see this becoming a necessary mod of mine. Thank you!

Late game was always my problem too. This was from my very first original mods, which I had fun learning how to make. Glad to hear you like it. Have fun.

So this is what a gigachad of a mod look like, such rizz aura that make all beta coward. For real tho, i can never get enough steel, let alone get rid of useless chunk, now they are the best thing to haul for :cool_seagull:

I'm pretty sure it works.
It is a simple recipe XML.
I will update it when I'm active on Rimworld again.

does this work on 1.5?

would it be possible to make this recipe work with the electric stonecutting table from Vanilla Production Furniture Expanded?
