Umm… alright, I think I still need more tutorials on this. I’m not sure which files I’m supposed to replace. After unpacking, I only see files like .vtx, .mdl, and .vvd, and I don’t really understand which ones need to be replaced. (The mod I used before was modified by someone else for me.)

changing the model name, the $declaresequences and $includemodel. that's all i've done

also use the $includemodel, copy and paste it under the $declaresequences

Then go into Notepad++, use Anims_RigToZoey_Replace_Nick.qci, copy the whole $declaresequence anims starting from the top then to the bottom. then paste it into the Taihou's (Nick) $declaresequence

Also, the one I originally modified was actually your mod—the DMG version—but I changed it to replace Nick.

Basically, the model I replaced has almost all of its animations messed up when playing on servers, but there's no issue at all when I'm playing solo.

I'm mainly interested in trying out model replacement, because I have another version that works fine when I'm playing solo. However, once I join a third-party server, the animations when controlled by special infected become abnormal — for example, when getting ridden by a Jockey, the animation looks like the one used when hit by a Charger.

It's quite simple to switch the model to another survivor though if you're intrigued enough on how to learn modding this shit, i could perhaps to try and teach you on how to convert custom survivors to another survivor.
