Maybe just add a third tier that guarantees learning a mod. Be nice to have for rare mods.

Congratulations on being kind of mainlined.

You could keep it up simply for the bonus to reverse engineering, or even add a little something on the side for the skill.

You know it's a good mod when they make it a base game feature. Thanks for the mod! It's done so much for my tinker runs

Alright, weird thing: Creating a new game with the mod activated prevents me from reverse-engineering things like grenades and such, and only allows me to reverse-engineer mods when I get the skill included from the mod.

Creating a game without the mod and then adding it later makes everything work fine.

@Renix I uploaded a fix. It' was because it didn't technically count as a tinker item, when practically every other weapon which can have mods does count as a tinker item.

I also changed how some things work behind the scenes and hopefully it doesn't break everything.If it does, I can just revert and upload just the spear fix..

I do not have a disassemble option for the airfoil poison tipped spear I found. Which appears in the thrown weapon category, often thrown by snapjaw spearfiends. which is odd because I can disassemble darts, which for some reason appear in COQ's normal weapon category.

@arrogantandaflame I definitely still get weapon disks and can reverse engineer weapons when I tried. Is it possible you maybe have Reverse Engineer II but not Reverse Engineer I? That could happen with warm static or something.

Is there anything else you can tell me? I don't think it's this, but I could do a bit more testing later in case

I have a problem, i can tinker up mods but i can't tinker weapons. at least i havent found any data disks and reverse engineer (which usually procs after 50 gotdamn revolvers) doesnt seem to work either. can you confirm any issues on your end? its an extremely recent problem.

@TutterFunks If you mean does this mod work without breaking when Sifrah's installed, I think the answer would be yes, but I'll test later. If you mean does it have it's chances and stuff based on the outcome of the Sifrah minigame, then no. It should just work in the way that as long as disassembly successfully happens, there's a 1/4 chance for each mod to be learned.

I'm on break from uni, so I have some time to mess around and see if I can get it to work based on the outcome of the Sifrah minigame, but on first impressions of looking at the code for it, I don't think it's something I'm going to be able to accomplish with Qud's modding.
